Excellent hiking poles
Great hiking stick that can be used for other purposes too. Fits into small suitcases and backpacks for traveling. Sturdy design but still lightweight so traveling via airlines is not an issue. Adjusts to individual heights very easily. The price for these is way below outdoor adventures and sporting goods retail stores.

If you are looking for a great walking stick, this is IT
A friend has these and loves them. I ordered and mine arrived and I love them more. I can’t say enough Good things about these. Top quality, light weight, but sturdy, beautifully constructed. My husband said, those should last a lifetime. My friend keeps ONE with her and one packed in her luggage as she and her husband travel often. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a quality walking stick. They adjust very easily to the proper height. Easy to collapse and most important to me as I have very sensitive skin, they FEEL great in your hand. I also love the three colors and it took me awhile to decide on the black one. They are priced well for their quality. I am ready to use mine and delighted to own a pair.

Great Poles. Tips Are Too Soft.
I'm satisfied with the poles. They work well, are sturdy, collape easily. The 4 star instead of 5 is because the tips wear out very quickly. One month of daily 1 mile walks and the tips were shot. The product information does not indicate size of replacement tip nor link to replacement tip. Or even better, they could offer/include a harder more durable tip. I understand the soft tip grips better and is less prone to slip. But that's only true until it wears thru and the metal end protrudes and is incredibly slip prone. This problem is not unique to these poles.

Good quality for occassional hiker
These are my first trekking poles. I have used them on two medium length, easy difficulty, day hikes. They work well. They are easy to unfold, adjust, and don't slip or collapse when you put a lot of weight on them. They fold up quickly and don't take up much room. They seem light and easy to use. (When I am using them, I am not thinking about their weight.) I'm now 70 years old and have friends who have fallen and been injured in ways that make life miserable for them. I feel like I am still in pretty good health, but these definitely do help prevent sliding and slipping on slopes or when going downhill on a wet trail. So I feel more secure when I am using them. I bought these based on reviews that suggest that they are good "middle range" choice. The quality is better than the cheapest poles and good enough for an occasional hiker like me. I didn't want to buy $200 poles since I won't be doing the Appalachian trail next year. I feel I got a quality product at a moderate price. I'm happy.

Great hiking poles
We bought these for a hiking trip to the Swiss alps. They folded up small enough to fit into our checked bag. They’re lightweight and most importantly were sturdy on the hike. We descended through various terrain and having an option of tip covers was very helpful.

Light & affordable
These are terrific if you don't need anything fancy and are traveling. I wanted something to easily fit in a small suitcase & that I wouldn't be out a ton of money if the airline lost my bag. (They did for 2 days). As with all new gear; practice setting up/taking down & test out well before your trip to do something else if they don't work out. They aren't as substantial as the C**tco ones nor my L*ki poles, but held up on steep trails in Hawaii when I needed some balance and support. If you can set up a pop up sun canopy, they are easy to put together ( they have a metal push button). That said, they are light, 3 pieces, and rely on that locking button, so if doing difficult trails, you may need more substantial, pricier ones.

Trekking poles are not just for serious hikes, great for neighborhood walks as well
I am 5'7" and got the shortest size, and fully extended they are the perfect size for me. I've never used trekking poles before and didn't know what to expect, but these seem solidly built and hold the adjustment with no slipping whatsoever. I have not used the straps, I just grip the handles, which feel quite comfortable to me. Glad I didn't cut off the straps, though, because I use them to hang the poles on a hook. I had worried that learning to use them "the right way" might be difficult, but I just set out on my neighborhood sidewalks and used them in whatever way came naturally, and it worked beautifully. Using trekking poles is a way to get more out of my walks because using them engages upper body muscles. Having a bit of a knee problem, I find too that using the poles takes some of the load off my knees, especially going up and down curbs. I imagine they would benefit people with hip or ankle problems as well. Wish I'd gotten them years ago!

Great for people with balance issues
When I found out, I had epilepsy which affected my balance terribly, and I was falling all the time. My knees and my shin were scratched up badly. I went to physical therapy to work on my balance, and my therapist told me that I should get a tracking stick rather than a cane because it would hold me upright more than a cane will. I found this to be very true. A problem is when you go to a restaurant or somewhere there’s no place to put your tracking stick. I found this one that folds up and I can lay it on the seat and it does not fall over.

Easy to collapse, length adjustment stays where you put it, not overly heavy
Used these a few times now, mostly for moderate difficulty walking trails. They've been solid and reliable. They stay at the adjusted length with no problems, and it is easy enough to collapse them down and store in the pack when climbing or otherwise not needing them while out on a trail. The poles are comfortable to use, although the wrist straps can get in the way a bit if you just want to hold them without the wrist strap around your wrist. The straps can chaff a little on the webbing between your thumb and finger if you hold it too close to the top. If it bothered me enough, I'd cut them off, but so far I've adjusted how I hold them and it hasn't been a big enough problem for me to worry about.
