Great product, you won't be disapointed.
I never thought I'd be writing a review about mayonnaise packets but the two current reviews about expiration dates left much to be desired. It's true there is no expiration date but the carton is marked with a date of manufacture. Mine was produced one month prior to when I received it which is very fresh for a commercial product bought online. If you can't decide on your own how long to keep it you could go by the supermarket brands which date their jars about one year in the future. That's a best if used by date so after a year it might not be at it's best taste but it's not going to kill you or make you sick. You'd know enough not to eat rancid mayonnaise regardless of what the date said. What you really want to know about is probably the taste. I'm no food critic but I do like mayo and am often disappointed with the bargain brands you find in stores so I am somewhat picky. In my opinion these packets are on par with Hellmann's and I'd consider them a restaurant quality product. In addition to tasting good they have a smooth and creamy consistency which is important for mayonaise. Everyone's taste is different so some people may prefer a different brand but I can't see anyone disliking this product enough to say it tastes bad or not want to eat it.I purchased for personal use. Packets are great to bring along with you whenever you pack sandwiches for a day out. If you put the mayo on at home it turns to vasoline and soaks into the bread by the time you are ready to eat. A fresh packet of mayo solves that problem. But I ended up using these at home as well because nothing is better then freshly opened mayo and with packets you get that every time. With a jar it's got the perfect taste and texture when you first open it but by the time you get to the bottom it's consistency is off from going in and out of the fridge, there are toast crumbs and gawd knows what else in it. You just want to get rid of it to open a fresh jar. So I've converted completely to packets and I'll only go back to jars for big jobs like making salads.

No expiration date
I can't give this product a higher review unless I know when the packets expire. When I ordered it, I thought there would be an expiration date either on the packets or on the package. Nope. No expiration dates. For all I know, these could already be expired. I tried calling the manufacturer, and I just get a phone tree. When I click the only option that might be reasonable (sales), the response is "I'm sorry, I couldn't hear your selection. Please enter that number again." When you do this three times, Portion Pac Inc. hangs up.

Mayo is mayo, it's not packaged for resale. ...
Mayo is mayo, it's not packaged for resale. It always arrives in a timely manner and we use it for our homeless meal program, so wish the price were less, but hey, it's a donation.

Good buy
Tastes very good. I like it as well as any of the brand names. I keep it for convenience uses, and also for portion control. It's harder to use more than I should when it comes in small packages!

Perfect for packing lunches
If you have to pack school or work lunches, these packets are perfect. The bread doesn't get soggy sitting in mayo all morning.
