Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Skin/Food Sensitivities Dry Dog Food

My 3 year old 4 pound Chihuahua suffered from IBD her whole life. I tried countless supplements and different diets all approved by my vet. After doing research about allergies to proteins I asked the vet to prescribe this food. We very slowly transitioned her to this kibble combined with the same formula in wet. I have to grind the kibble in a coffee grinder first bc she is very tiny and I add water to the whole combination but she LOVES it! This is the first time she has ever wanted to eat her food and she no longer has weekly bouts of diarrhea. Anyone that's gone through this knows it's a nightmare and nothing short of a miracle when you finally find the answer! Thank you Hills Science. Please make soft treats with this same formula!

My dog was already 4 months old when I adopted her via a local rescue. She and sister had been taped into a cardboard box and thrown onto a landfill! Took the landfill awhile to discover them. Then only caught them when they realized they were returning to the box at night to sleep. Perhaps related to this, once I brought her home, it quickly became apparent she had allergies. Testing at 1 year of age revealed 39 strong reactions to all sorts of things, including several types of proteins, meats, most grains and/or ingredients typically found in commercial dog foods. She requires this hydrolyzed formula which is veterinary recommended and does not contain peas, rice, etc. So thankful it exists! Now 6, she is living her best life! She is one of the smartest, nicest dogs I have ever had! It also influenced me to choose to choose Hill’s cat food for the kitten I adopted :)

Couldn’t rely on one of those “on-line” pet stores to deliver on time / every time and wouldn’t contact us when there was a problem. So far, Amazon has met our needs every couple of weeks.

This is the only food that we can feed Syrie that she won't throw up. We've tried a whole bunch of other sensitive stomach foods but end up back with the Hills Prescription.

Our Bernedoodle was repeatedly coming down with ear infections and each trip to the vet was stressful on all of us since her ears became extremely sensitive. Our vet recommended this food and wrote a prescription. It is more expensive than anything else we gave her but she appears to enjoy the taste, it is easy on her belly and we have not had an ear infection in four years.

I have a 1.5 year old WireHaired Pointing Griffon. Many trips to the ER due to diarrhea and straining, appetite, vomiting, fevers, lethargy, you name it. Tested negative for Addisons. Tried novel proteins like kangaroo with no luck. Prednisone was the only thing helping him eat. Switched to this food and he’s been well for 4 months now. Pricey but worth it. He’s healthy, and eats his food with relish. Hoping this review helps someone.

Que ayuda mucho a la piel de los perritos

Muy bueno de alta calidad. Veo mejoras en el pelaje de mi perro. Anteriormente no se comía sus croquetas si no estaban acompañadas de algún trozo de carne o verdura. Pero con estas croquetas no es necesario darle algún complemento.

Pues que es un buen alimento y es de prescripción médica peto todos mis perros les gusta mucho y todos lo comemos muy bien!

A ração é de excelente qualidade! Minha pet adorou desde o primeiro dia. Notei melhora no brilho do pêlo, disposição e saúde em geral. Com certeza continuarei comprando. Super recomendo!

It is good for my suoer senior dog. No digestion issue when on this food. Only the picture shows the new packing and you get the old one, not expired though
