Cup body is loose on main body - needs adjust ment to start playing
Like other reviewers mentioned - the cup body does not sit firmly on main body -- so it gets difficult to catch the dama.You will have to push the cup body harder into main body for it sit in a good grip. I have done that - it seems to be alright now. I did buy another Kendama - which did not have this looseness issue - so I am guessing there are better Kendamas than this one. However, I also read on Kendama sites that looseness can be expected and by using super glue one can make it sit in one place.It can be good starter Kendama .

LOOSE CUPS
The kendama worked pretty well for about a month but after that the cups became loose and it was difficult to land tricks with those loose cups.If you're thinking of buying a kendama that would last longer,then I'd definitely recommend that you save up and buy a sweets kendama.But if you're just looking to have fun for a shorter amount of time with a cheap kendama then you can buy this.

I got the damaged box but product was in good condition , it's a great skill toy to practice a must buy so overall I recommend to have one for this affordable price.
