Standard process products are life savers.
I love this product! My dog a had a Renal issue 2 years ago and this helpt. I did stop it a year a ho thinking he night not need it anymore and had some new issues however after a week of taking him he was back to normal. ๐ฏ recommend brought him back to life when I thought I was going to lose him. I couldnโt say, but I think it taste very good because he has no issue when he eats it. Also, the ingredients seem very clean definitely very effective and good value for money.

Use powder instead of capsules.
My vet recommended for my cat with renal failure. The powdered version is fine for cats as well as dogs.

Good Results as Part of a KidneyโSupport Plan
This is our second bottle of this supplement for our dogโs kidney concerns, and after many months of using itโalong with another similar product and a diet low in phosphorusโher latest bloodwork came back great. Our vet says we donโt need to return for at least another six months. We did make several changes, and this supplement was only one part of the plan. Every dog and situation is different, and we consulted with our vet before starting anything new. That said, weโve been happy with the results so far and will continue using this product.

Helped my dog!
my dog went to get her teeth cleaned and the vet called after doing preliminary blood work and said she had "kidney insufficiency" and should be put on prescription food... i read up on the prescription food and found that it was not nearly as good as the food i was already feeding her, and the cost was OUTRAGEOUS. I began looking for an alternative way to treat this... I already use Standard Process products for my own health and was glad to see that they provide options for pets. after using this product for 30 days (and NOT changing her food) i took the dog back to the vet for more blood work... the vet called and said her numbers were now perfect! So my dog still gets her high quality food with a scoop of this stuff on it twice a day. highly recommend.

Very palatable powder supplement!
I love how palatable this is to my dog. My American Pit Bull Terrier is turning 14 this July & in February his creatinine numbers came back indicating he was in the beginning stages of renal disease/failure. Since I've raw fed once daily starting when he was 8 years old, he doesn't have a typical meal in a bowl for me to pour this powder over twice a day. I was concerned about how he would take this supplement. I put it in a metal feeding bowl & he eagerly licked it up! He likes it so much in fact I can hide his other kidney supplement capsules & his 2 probiotic capsules in the powder and he eats it all! Because I haven't taken him back to the vet for bloodwork yet I can't definitively say it's helping, but he has yet to lose his appetite from the kidney-induced nausea so I'm hopeful I've slowed the progression of his disease/failure/condition. I also cannot definitively say which supplement is helping since I'm feeding more than one. I'm just glad there's products out there that seem to be as or more beneficial than the prescription kidney food that I now believe contributed to the early death of my beagle.

Seems to be helping my 14 old dog.
This holiday season my 14 year old dog seemed to be declining, losing weight and acting lethargic. I have been to this rodeo before with other old animals and understand these are the signs of failing kidneys and that the end is approaching. I took my dog in and she did blood work and yes, his kidney function was decreasing. I purchased a prescription renal diet from the vet and this product. Began using this as soon as it arrived and lo and behold my dog is eating like a pig, gained some weight and acts like his old self. I took him back to the vet and his kidney function is almost normal now. It may be the combination of the food and this product but something is working!

my dog did not have kidney disease But she must have weak kidneys for the bun values to be high in every blood test so I researc
My 8 year old Yorkie was misdiagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease because her bloodwork (Bun values) was high. It always showed up high and I always had to do a urine sample the next day and that would show she was alright. Never trust inhouse bloodwork from your regular vet it is unreliable! Before starting any treatment get a specilist opinion, my dog did not have kidney disease But she must have weak kidneys for the bun values to be high in every blood test so I researched all products and this is the most highly recommend and used by Holistic vets. After on bottle her blood test were NORMAL! They have never been normal Will keep her on it for the rest of her life and start my others when they get older to support renal fuction. Ask your vet at what age you should start this kind of support.
