The best oatmeal I’ve ever eaten
I was first introduced to Flahavan’s porridge oats at a bed and breakfast in Dublin ten years ago. Until then, I had never liked oatmeal, having grown up with a version that resembled wallpaper paste. The taste and consistency of these porridge oats, however, made me a convert. Unfortunately, it’s rare to find Flahavans in my local grocery stores, so I was delighted to discover packages of the organic oats on Amazon. To replicate the thicker porridge I had in Ireland, and which I prefer, I put a 1/2 cup of oats and just shy of a cup of milk in a deep bowl and (yes) microwave it for about three minutes on high. When it’s finished cooking, and has sat for a minute or so to thicken a bit, I add a drizzle of honey and imagine myself back in the Emerald Isle.

Product arrived with bugs moving inside sealed package. Not eligible for return or credit. Do not buy. Very very disappointing

Perfect for Guinness Brown bread
Bought this for my Guinness Brown bread to bring it to next level authentic. Couldn't replicate that wonderful Dublin pub vibe, but still, It was yummy.

Creamy and cooks quick
This is the BEST oatmeal. It isn’t instant but it does cook quickly and is creamier than any US brands I have tried. My second favorite is Bob’s Red Mill- but this is several steps above Bob’s per my taste
