It does work well for protection. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Moisturizing SPF lip gloss, but unpleasant white cast *by C***Z on April 19, 2021* Here are a few things to consider before buying: Pros: - Great for sensitive skin or irritated lips - Glossy and moisturizing - Good SPF protection - Good packaging, I experienced no issues like other reviews and the tube is great for application Cons: - I find that I have to reapply constantly because it seemingly disappears - It is a completely white gloss which appears as a whitish purple color on the lips, not very flattering Tip: - Before applying the lip balm I will use a lip tint or stick in a natural shade. The white color is toned down significantly when I do this If I pair the lip balm with another lip gloss or something tinted, the white color is not a big issue. I love that this is a physical zinc sunscreen because I have issues with chemical sunscreens.
