I love that that the water level reader is above the top of the pot, but not too big to distract from my plants. The plastic feels sturdy and is easy to clean off. My only disappointment was reading that I was supposed to use rocks in the bottom of the pot in the manual, which I was not aware when I purchased the pots. It seemed odd to include the soil but not the rocks.
