Update: Cancelling my return and re-rating this product. My only argan experience comes from goPURE, so this recent purchase being very different from my original (same brand) upset me. All the photos I see of argan oil look like my 2016 purchase (golden amber and clear), including goPURE's image--but I've just read multiple articles on sites related to purchasing quality argan that say the following:"As this is natural product, sediment is a sign of quality and there is nothing unusual. Good oil, that is not highly refined, may have a tiny bit of sediment at the bottom of the bottle and will appear a bit “cloudy”. Don’t be alarmed. You also don’t have to do anything, just use your oil as usual knowing that it is a real thing."This was neither a product nor vendor issue, so you can buy with confidence. I'm leaving my original review below so that anyone in a panic can rest assured and save themselves the trouble of stressing out. I love this oil, and just have to get used to the current oil gunk... I'm sure the results from last year's purchase will be the same--great skin and great hair!ORIGINAL REVIEWPurchased this before and loved it, but it had a different label (orange and white) and a dropper instead of a pump. That was my first time using argan oil and now I swear by it. However--this is the same brand (I checked my past orders) but this purchase doesn't have clear amber coloured oil like my purchase last year. This product is cloudy coloured and black gunk keeps coming out of the pump. It's gross. See photo. I'm going to return this item and reorder from goPure directly, because I ordered my first product through them. Maybe this has been on the vendor's shelf for too long and has gone rancid??? There's no weird smell, so honestly I have no idea. I just know it's not the same at all.If my next order from goPure directly is the same as my 2016 purchase, then I'll update this review to 5 star and leave a 1 star for the vendor that sold me the current product I have.

This is a great quality argan oil. I use it on my face, hair and body daily. It moisturizes deeply, yet it's light weight and absorbs quickly. I never feel greasy. My skin loves it. I have very oily skin, and it seems less oily now than it was before I started using this argan oil. It also fades any dark spots, such as scars left by pimples.My hair hasn't been this soft in a long time. I'm African American, and our hair tends to be naturally dry, especially if it is chemically straightened, as mine is. Argan oil is fantastic for moisturizing it. Just a few drops daily on my ends does the trick for me. It also makes my hair very shiny. I also rub a few drops of argan oil onto my hands and nails before bed. My nails seem stronger and more flexible now. I would definitely purchase this oil again. The only reason I took off one star is that the cap of the bottle seems a little bit leaky. Kind of annoying. And when I received my delivery, it was packaged in a bubble-mailer, not a box stuffed with packing, as it should have been. It is a glass bottle, after all. Obviously precautions need to be taken to prevent breakage during shipping.

I have really dry hair that is damaged from previous relaxers and heat styling products. I decided to try this produce and I fell in love with it . I mostly use it on my hair which made my hair feel so soft. It does not make the hair too greasy, when using the right amount, and seems to be quickly absorbed. I use an average of eight drops on damp hair or dry hair. This product helped reduce frizzes and overall made my hair appear less dry. I also use it as a heat protectant before styling to protect my hair from further damage. It has an olive scent: however, the scent does not bother me at all. Overall this is a great product that I would recommend to friends and family. The product is exactly as I expected. I give this a five store.

Honestly, this is my first time using argon oil so I have nothing to compare it to. But let me tell ya, I LOVE this stuff! I use this as my one and only facial moisterizer and it's all I need! Nothing is perfect so I will give you a list of the pros on cons about my skin after using this for a few weeks. The bad first:CONS:I have a few more super tiny bumps on occasion than I did while using a face lotion. (I wouldn't even call them pimples, no white head)My face seems to get a little more red after sun exposure (I already have redness issues, I'm a freckle face red head lol)PROS:My skin is glowing!It has helped with the few little scars I have.I no longer feel the need to wear foundation or concealer! That's the biggest plus. I will deal with any of the cons for this pro!I forgot to mention it also works great on cuticles and for a hair mask!

I was on the market for a cheaper alternative to Josie Maran's Argan Oil and found that this one had pretty great reviews so I almost immediately ordered myself a bottle. A 4oz. bottle of pure argan oil for only $13? Sign me up! I received the product after two speedy days, which was amazing and I was so excited to use it that I ran home and hurriedly opened the package to test it out. Then I smelled it. I expected to smell something like Josie Maran's Argan Oil, which smells a little nutty and a little flowery, but when I opened the bottle I was immediately hit in the nose by sour scents that smelled in all honesty quite gross. It bothered me so much that I almost had the mind to return it, but I decided to use it first before I tried to ship it back again. I mixed it in with my conditioner and body lotion to cover up the smell and it actually ended up working out beautifully. My skin and hair feel wonderfully soft and supple and just great, which I admittedly wasn't expecting. I was really disappointed with the smell, but the results are great so I'm happy enough. I plan on just mixing this in with my current lotions and hair care items to get the benefits from this oil and hopefully none of the smell.
