I bought this to replace the failed power supply for my EQ276W. When I first opened the bag I thought something was wrong: The end that plugged into the monitor had only two holes, instead of the four prong connector. It turns out that there is an adapter that one must plug into the end of the cable, so make sure you check your bag. I then tried connecting the power supply to the monitor, and didn't work. Again, I assumed something was wrong, but it turns out that the adapter only works in one orientation. If it doesn't work for you, switch the plugs on the adapter. Now my monitor is alive again. If anything changes, I will note it here. UPDATE, July 2016: I started experiencing flickering a few weeks ago. Then the monitor started turning off, only to turn back on a few seconds later. Then it stayed off. I cleaned the contacts with some isopropyl alcohol, and taped the adapter piece to the main cable. This seemed to make the connection more stable, but I was still getting occasional shutdowns. I then tried taping the cable to my monitor stand, reducing movement even more, and it seems solid again--no shutdowns. There is still occasional flickering. I can't tell if that's due to the power supply or the monitor. I'll be looking into a new monitor, as I'm sick of dealing with this one.

This has an uncommon, specialized 4-post, round interface for the auria eq276w monitor. Apparently, even if you find another power supply at the right voltage that uses the same round, 4-post design, Auria, in their infinite wisdom, used their own wiring scheme (this is what I read on the Interweb when looking for this power supply), so anything not specifically touted as being for the auria monitor is risky (Google it!) . At first, 80 bucks seems like Highway robbery, but soon you find there aren't many companies that even provide power supplies for this monitor. And the others I found were same price or more...and you don't have to wait 2 weeks for it to come from China. Buying this through Amazon, you're safe as it gets. This adapter is as quality as a power supply gets (most companies save money, I've noticed, by chintzing out on the power supply). Not anything special, just not crappy either. It beats buying a new monitor, for sure! It is definitely better than the one that comes with the monitor originally, which rattled when you shook it from what sounded like broken bits of whatever floating around in the casing. Heads up, this one gets very warm after the monitor is powered on for a while. That's the norm for these supplies. Oh, and TPower themselves have a 60 day warranty, and their support is very responsive. I asked about the warm adapter, they set my mind at ease quickly. I've been running it for about a month, and I'm so happy to have my 27" 2.5k monitor back in action again. I'd definitely buy this one again.

Works great until it doesn't. I just bought my third one, they seem to run for 3-4 years and burn out. I've had dozens of power bricks for various devices, never had one burn out prior to this one. My power is rock steady, no significant voltage fluctuations and it doesn't overheat, gets warm to the touch but not overly hot. Your Mileage May Vary.

My Auria EQ276W after 10 years randomly stopped working. The logo splash screen would appear and I could partially see the desktop before the screen would go black and look to be in a powered off state but the green LED was still lit. I tried another PC, different input, all with same symptoms. I noticed there was a buzzing sound coming from the power supply. I could smell burnt electronics smell when placing the PSU near my nose. I opened the power supply brick and was greeted with a strong charred electronics smell. Confirming my suspicion. I hurried up and looked for a replacement as I cannot be without this monitor. Found this power supply unit and ordered it right away. It arrived and I quickly connected it to my monitor and it powered right on. Good as new! Perfect! $30 much better than hundreds. The sticker on the side says it may become hot. Yes, yes it does get hot, 145.4° F aka 63° C with the other side of the same mouse mat at 76° F. Which says to me this adapter isn't designed for what it puts out, and won't last long. OTOH, it resurrected my auria EQ276W as promised. Now either I point a fan at it, find something else to power the display, or buy a newer monitor.

The AQ276W is (was) an excellent, inexpensive, monitor. Unfortunately, it shipped with an external power supply with a nonstandard pinout and poor reliability. Under warrantee, Auria replaced one power supply, but apparently the monitor was sold underpriced as Auria is no longer. Thus, when my 2nd power supply started buzzing and quit working properly, T-Power to the rescue. In other reviews, there was some concern that the T-Power power supply was slightly underpowered relative to the OEM supply. My OEM supply (Coming Data LP 2460) has the input labeled 100-240V, 50/60Hz, 3A and the output labeled 24V at 6A. The T-Power I received in December 2015 has the input labeled as 100-240V, 50/60Hz, 1.5-2.5A, and the output labeled at 24V at 5-6.5A. The T-Power is also somewhat smaller than the OEM (5.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 inches vs. 6.5 x 2.5 x 1.75 inches). Both run somewhat warm to the touch, the T-Power is currently at 49.8C -- I don't have a measurement of the OEM, but it was similar. The T-Power has a "Clover Leaf" or "Mickey Mouse" power connector and power cord (C5/C6), which is reasonably common but not on the desktop. The OEM had the more typical C13/C14 connector and cord. This may not matter to you, but I expect that you're more likely to have spare C13 cords laying around (see Wikipedia for IEC-60320 for diagrams and descriptions of C5/C6 and C13/C14).

Excellent customer service, product continued to fail after several replacements. Initially bought this as a replacement for the failed power supply for my Auria EQ276W, which is a known issue with that model. The power brick itself seems to a generic standard power adapter which the company then has adapter/dongle they connect to the output side of the brick and heat shrink around the connection between the adapter-dongle and the power brick. Looks cheap, but the connection is pretty reliable. The power supply worked for a good 15 minutes or so before failing, heard a pop come from the Power supply, lost video/power to the monitor, and inspected the power supply which smelled of burnt electronics and was abnormally hot to the touch. There were no melted plastic or scorch marks visible on the outside of the power supply itself. Contacted the company about the issue and they sent me a replacement power supply free of charge as well as a shipping label to return the failed one. Received the replacement power supply within a week of reporting the issue, had the power supply for about two weeks before it failed in a similar fashion to the first. I don't suspect it could be a power issue on my end causing the Power Supply's to fail; they are receiving power through a UPS/Power Filter. The only common denominator aside from the input power is the monitor itself. The company has excellent customer service, but after having two power supplies fail with varying operational times, I would not recommend this product.

This was for a Auria monitor EQ276W that someone threw out. My son picked it out of someone trash and brought the monitor home hoping that it would work for his computer for school work and play. It was rained on, so he left it to dry for several days. The monitor needed hdmi cable and this special power adapter, because of its 4 pins plug in) that is not readily available unless you look here in Amazon. It was worth the risk to see if that was all it needed for the monitor to work. Ordered and received the adapter in 4 days WoW that was great. The adapter is built well, not cheap thin plastic,it is heavy duty plastic brick that feels well made in the hand, and the wires were also heavy duty, excellent quality and length. The length of the cord is like this, from the male outlet plug that goes to the wall outlet to the brick is 5 ft, then from the brick adapter to the monitor is another 5 ft length. So you will not have any problems from having a short cord. I have it plugged in now and the brick is not hot at all, it is only slightly slightly cool warm, so it tells me that its not underrated or poor components. Time will tell, but for now, got a thrown out in the trash 27inch Auria monitor working with this well made adapter. Thank you T-Power and Amazon. Excellent product.
