Great device. Wouldnโt have an aquarium without this.
Wouldnโt have an aquarium without having your heater connected to this. I have 3 and all work great for safeguarding against heater malfunctions. Easy to set up and gives you peace of mind. This will protect your fish from extreme heat that can be caused from a malfunctioning heater, that without this, would otherwise fail to shut off and expose your aquarium to extreme heat which can devastate aquarium life. Small price to pay to protect your aquatic life.

Youtube is your friend for programming, Quality device once it is setup!
These work and function great so far. I started with one and then got another one when I realized how well it worked. This particular model has a probe that goes into your tank and then 2 plugs for multiple heaters on the same inkbird, which is exactly what I am gonna do in order to have a backup, redundant heater. Both of them being controlled by the inkbird will put less strain on both heaters over time and save money, as well as peace of mind for your critters. The size is great and fits on the wall with a screw and can easily be hidden away if you do not want the digital display showing all the time. It was easy to install on the wall and get the probe into the tank. The only con of this entire device is it can be a bit tricky to setup if your completely new to this device. The directions can be a little less than helpful. I found youtube to be a quick and valuable resource. It seems harder than it actually is. This is a simple setup and simple design once you get it going.

Good so far
It's an inexpensive heater controller, so I didn't expect it to be amazing. It does the job, and I've had no issues for the month that I've had it. The only significant trouble I've had was understanding the instructions, which are written in confusing engrish. I've noticed that the temperature it read initially was 2F off, but it can be adjusted. The temperature also fluctuates a few fractions of a degree throughout the day, but it's not a big deal to me; it monitors a singular betta in a 10 gallon tank. Between the Inkbird, the glass thermometer, and the Fluval E series heater, I have 3 thermometers checking the tank temperature at all times and all of them are close around the same temperature, so everything seems to be working properly. With the Inkbird and the Fluval E heater, I also have 2 electronic emergency cutoffs in case one fails to trip. I also have everything connected to a circuit breaker wall tap because I have no idea what I'm doing and I needed a wall tap, so why not? To solve the issue than some seem to have with the alarms going off all the time: don't set the max cutoff temp as the same as the temp you want the tank at. For example, I have my heater set to 78F, but the Inkbird is set to 80F as the max temp, so I've never heard any alarm. This isn't the most accurate sensor, so I recommend using more than 2 other thermometers for second opinions. Because of this, I also wouldn't use it for fish that are really sensitive to temperature fluctuations.

So far so good
I bought two of these for my two aquariums as a failsafe. I keep my aquariums at 75f How I set up the inkbird: CF = F for freedom units Tr = 0 because I don't need a timer TS1 = 78f which is the failsafe cut off DS1 = 1f which means power is on to the heater below 77f (keeping in mind my heater is separately programmed to 75) Settings are retained if the power goes out. Flaws: There is no upper or lower temp alarm on this unit. The suction cup that attached the prob in your aquarium is absolutely useless. It's already come off twice in the last half hour.

Fabulous for yogurt !
I'm so pleased with this device. It works perfectly for regulating temperatures for making yogurt. It has been reliable and accurate. It's easy to use. And frankly, the features are overkill for what I needed. It's capable of quite a bit more. I use a very large pot filled with water, a submersible coffee cup heater, and a tiny water pump. Inside the big pot is a smaller large pot with the yogurt milk. The pump circulates the water nicely and the coffee cup heater is enough to keep a couple of gallons of water warm. Both plug into the Inkbird and it keeps my yogurt within a degree of where I want it. It works great. Heater: https://a.co/d/6yaSmSU Pump: https://a.co/d/12CVL4p

Stable temperatures now
Itโs a pretty good product, but it took a little to understand how it works, but now my tank has stable temperature. I think I will keep one of these on my tank from now on, especially after I had a heater malfunction in the past.
