Order from Global Industrial Sewing Supplies! Customer support has been absolutely amazing to me. I wish I had the persons name so I could give them a mention! I messaged about assembling the table/ they answered promptly with links with diagrams and QR codes that took me to YouTube videos. They have stayed in contact with me to check up and even messaged me the day the head was delivered to let me know it arrived! They have offered help if I need it! So far I’ve put the table and motor together. I will assemble the head tomorrow! I just wanted to give praise to the company bc there are some negative reviews! My experience has been extremely exceptional and I was nervous after reading all the negative things other people said! Don’t believe them! Order from Global industrial Sewing Supplies! I bought it end of march/ beginning of April, it took a while to get here. I've had nothing but issues! For the amount of money I spent I shouldn't have a broken machine. Super upset about the whole thing. First, they sent the WRONG table so it wouldn't even work for the machine I ordered! Then when they sent me a new table and I set up and built everything, the motor STOPPED WORKING and was blowing fuses within SECONDS. They sent me a new motor and so far that has held up. BUT.....within 1.5 hours of sewing on it the bobbin case mechanism STOPPED WORKING. So now it doesn't spin so it will not function. The "safety" mechanism it has with the button that's supposed to fix it DOESN'T WORK!!! I am so unbelievably upset that I spent almost $3,000 on something I only got to enjoy for a little over an hour. I would never buy from these people again and urge anyone wanting this machine to go everywhere and anywhere else than ordering from these people. Such a waste of time and money!

This machine is awful for the money. I didn’t get everything to put it together, sent a message and they acted as if they were going to send everything that I was missing and still left parts out. Then I finally get it all together and the reverse doesn’t work it just catches thread. It sounds horrible when using. My sister has this same juki and it is so much better. She got it from the company and they even came out and put it together.. don’t buy it is a big disappointment

I did not purchase my 1531S through Amazon however, I did purchase it online from a dealer. Personally, I have had no issues with my Juki “June”. I’m a custom bag maker and work with mainly leather and vinyl and sometimes heavy canvas. This machine sews through layers of all three like butter. If you talk with a reputable Juki dealer they will tell you this machine is the most popular. Just remember to hold those thread tails when starting out! This was a learning curve for me since previous machines used were just heavy duty non industrial domestic machines. If you’re looking for a great machine, this is it. Buy from a reputable dealer and join Facebook groups. They’re a wealth of information. Seriously, this is the best machine on the market!

Love this machine, it’s a tank, very heavy. Wanted to buy a machine to last a lifetime and this is what I chose. Download the manual for correct oiling procedures. The motor and motor bracket it came with was pretty cheap so the alignment with the plastic bracket wasn’t great. I used the Amazon rewards cash back to purchase the upgraded brushless motor that came with a VFD (variable speed drive) as well as a needle positioner so that the needle raises up when done stitching so you can pull the material and thread right through by just using the leg lift to raise the foot. I did have to get a longer belt to accommodate the new setup. Works wonderfully. This is a heavy duty machine that will last a lifetime. The table it comes with is made of thick plywood and laminate. Since the machine is so heavy and it sits in a large hole that only leaves a thin strip of the table in front, I noticed it bowing a bit, I plan on reinforcing it with either a piece of 1/2” box steel tubing and screws or something similar to prevent it from bowing more. The plastic drawer that it comes with is tricky to instal and the plastic slides aren’t great, I have plans to improve that too. Overall though, the business that sold it through Amazon got it right out to me, and overall I couldn’t be happier with my purchase after doing some upgrades, that why I gave it 4 stars. If it was offered with the upgraded motor and such to begin with it would get 5.

I have had the worst experience with both the third party seller and Amazon. As you can see from this video, the machine goes backwards. When I contacted the seller, they informed me that I needed to find a sewing machine technician to fix it. I have been insisting that they send a box to ship it back, since the original box had oil leaked on the inside and it was destroyed. The Amazon A-Z department contacted the seller and they informed them it was fine. Instead of looking at the thread of messages to the seller regarding this machine not working and going backwards, they informed me that the seller was fine when it was delivered!!! I am beyond frustrated at this point. Whatever you do, avoid buying a machine from Amazon or this seller.
