VViViD Hex+ Dark Smoke High Gloss Air-Tint Headlight (16" x 60" (w/Toolkit))

I installed this on my rear and front lights for my 2022 Honda Civic. Please keep in mind your local and state laws regarding tint as not all states allow it (Washington doesn't allow anything that directly impedes your lights and your lights must be visible from a specified distance, I recommend looking up your State Patrol laws regarding it). I digress - The installation process isn't something I'd rate on this but I can't say I'd give it a low rating as it adheres really well, and for a vinyl like installation it does well and has held up well over a year through various weather. Now, due to my lack of experience wrapping when I first installed it I'll be redoing part of mine (I over stretched on one spot and didn't remove all the bubbles properly on another, this isn't the product's fault, but my own inexperience at the time of installation). My headlights are just as bright as without this installed and overall looks good. Both my rear and headlights appear entirely blacked out when the lights aren't on and at night you can't tell the difference (Older cars without LED lights might see some difference, depending entirely on the lens clarity, and your lumens). I've already ordered more and definitely recommend if you want to tint your head/rear lights.

I love how the car looks after finishing. The problem came at night when I tested how much light was allowed to pass through, but I couldn’t see anything. It was like there were no headlights on. I had to double-check that they were actually on. i will get some brighter leds to try not removing. 5 stars on material and installation very easy taking your time.

I run a semi-large retrofit business and we mostly specialize in 09-18 Ram Headlights. With both of the clear corner/smoked lense company’s no longer selling Ram parts, we have had to adjust to customer demand. We were looking for alternatives to VHT NightShades and we were hoping this was it. Unfortunately this vinyl tint, when applied internally, to headlight bezels/DRL lenses, it will peel and eventually lift, due to the heat of HID bulbs and lighting. Initially, the tint worked amazingly and looked KILLER in this set of AlphaRex lights, but after 2 weeks of being installed, almost the entire tint lifted in multiple spots. We were forced to reopen the customers lights and remove the tint, causing us to lose considerable amounts of money and time. Overall this tint is nice for external lighting use (maybe, we haven’t tried that) but when it comes to tinting internal pieces, this just wont work.

A no B.S. assessment. I loved the look. Very high gloss as advertised. However, this is what most folks on here won't say. It cuts almost all light transmission from your headlights. I am not naive, I expected a drop. However, I have HID for low beams and LED's for high and no joke, I could not see either to any noticeable effect from inside the vehicle at night. Its a shame because it looked so good. Application wasn't terrible but doing it by yourself is a pain in the butt. It wrinkles very, very easily and you need both hands free to smooth it out while another person holds the heat gun. DO NOT GET THIS if you want to see your lights at night.

I bought this to tint some lights on my vehicle (2021 Mazda MX-5 RF GT) and installed it with no previous knowledge of installing tint or wrap. It was very easy to use and manipulate. For the price, it was a lot of tint to have on hand when i made mistakes. It does wrinkle as all tint does, but applying a little heat from a heat gun allowed me to mess with it until it fit and became flush. It has been on my car and been exposed to the elements and high speeds (110+ at tracks) and it has stayed. Very high quality for the money. Stays stuck in all scenarios for a street and track car

I applied these with a little difficulty because of the curves in my headlights. They looked great once I got them applied but the first time I drove at night it was almost completely diminished. The tint cuts to much light and barely able to see the road without going extremely slow. The tail lights look really good though. Do not buy for the headlights.

I did my headlight this summer, still look good. I did my taillights 2 years ago with the same product and to still look good

I use this on the tail light of Ram 1500 and I'm happy with the result easy to install and good adhesion. this is my second purchase.
