I ordered these W320 cashews for making smoothies, and found them to be closer in taste to the larger, more expensive W240 size cashews. It’s the best-tasting cashews in its size when compared to my earlier purchases.I try to source organically-grown produce wherever possible. When it comes to cashew nuts, I’m concerned about extremely poisonous pesticides like endosulphan being used in large cashew plantations. I enquired about this with Spicy Carte, and I was told that the raw nuts are sourced from homesteads and small growers, which more or less ensures that they’re grown organically. They may not have the organic label, but I’d trust my instincts rather than a label.The product packaging is worth mentioning, too. It’s very thick, food-grade pouch. It would’ve been more user-friendly if the package was made resealable, though.There were hardly any broken kernels or ‘dust’ at the bottom of the pack.
