So I never thought I would write a review about an ashtray but here I go. If you’re using the cheap plastic ashtray in your car or on your patio or even at your favorite sitting chair then throw that piece of garbage away. This thing is a whole other level than the plastic ones. My husband smokes. I empty his ashtray. I noticed that it was literally starting to break down and it looked horrible. I saw these and thought that even if they were thin metal at least I wouldn’t have to worry about it melting. My husband thought it was stupid when I told him I ordered it. Well it came while I was out and hubby got them. He loves them. They are not thin and cheaply made. They are sturdy and sleek. They have nice weight to them and the top is very secure. The color is nice and will go well with our patio furniture. I would absolutely buy these again and definitely would recommend them.

First and foremost, it looks like it belongs! The style and durability make this the only ashtray I will ever need! It looks classy, and you don’t have butts just laying around! They are concealed inside which is not only more appealing but it much safer! You also no longer have ashes everywhere, they are also concealed inside! It’s the perfect size to use anywhere… fits right in a cup holder for use in my vehicle, heavy duty for when I use it outside! Again I never have to worry about ashes blowing everywhere. I bought one, loved it and bought 4 more… so I have one in my car, 2 on the back patio and 2 as gifts… not typical something I would buy as a gift, but they were very pleased just because of the functionality and were happy to not have ugly ash trays everywhere! These were worth ever penny and more!

I finally had enough with those embarrassing burn marks that occur when trying to ash out the window. Besides, flicking the butt out the window also leads to burn marks and can actually blow back into the car if the wind is just so. I like this simple design, but made of quality, stainless steel, which I placed in the first cupholder, leaving the second one for drinks. I became frustrated when I tried getting the ashtray open. I am not sure how I finally got it open, but struggling with it almost made me return it - which I am thankful did not occur. When the amount of butts and ashes in the ashtray are nearing the top, you can shake the ashtray lightly up and down to get the ashes to go down the hole. The up and down motion also allows for a few more cigarettes to go in the hole until the next time you fill up and empty the can. A cloud of ashes is evident after emptying it out, but that's the nature of the remnants of tobacco. This ashtray is of good quality and is useful for its intended purpose. Highly recommended!

I holds 1 cig on side and no smoke when dropped in this ashtray. Love the stainless steel, is easy to dump and clean.

Yes, the lid is a little challenging to open with arthritic hands, but not that hard. Love that I can put the cig inside and it doesn’t continue to smoke outside of the container. Looks nicer and more durable than the plastic ones. I got a two pack and glad I did because one can go in my hiking backpack for when I’m in nature and need a place to put one out.

Just what I needed. No more worrying if the cigarette went out the window.

This helps to prevent littering as I hate when people throw their cigarette butts out of their car window. Great size for cup holder. Doesn't help with smell, but does what I initially bought it for which is to not litter. Good value for the price.
