Rain Fly works wonderfully!
Recently I purchased the Honest Outfitters double-wide size hammock and a rain fly to match. I have to report that I am immensely satisfied with my purchase. I am a large guy (6’4”) and I was more than comfortable for an entire night in this hammock. The included tree straps were great for both tying to the rollcage on my Jeep and the large pine tree I had in my campsite. Setup was simple for the hammock, though for the rain fly, it took a bit more thought to ensure it was tight and snug, however I am very glad I took the effort to do so. There was a light rain shower early morning and the fly kept me nice and dry and comfortable. There is a bit of a learning curve to getting into the hammock, but after you understand the technique, its simple and safe enough, just be careful not to lie diagonally else you’ll be unstable. Packing up was much easier than setup, took only about 10 minutes (much faster than a tent) and both pieces fit easily back into the enclosed bags.Overall I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to using this again. I am sure that the hammock will remain in my jeep for any potential usage at a park or such considering how easy it was to setup. Highly recommend!

Great value tarp
The media could not be loaded. I've set this up in my back yard and everything works as you'd expect. Build quality seems solid. There is a reinforced strip along the ridgeline. All 6 corners come with a quick-release buckle in the tarp. It works great for the outer corners. The lines have a sliding adjuster at one end and are open at the other for threading through the buckle. But the buckles on the ridgeline confused me. Those two lines have a sliding adjuster at both ends making it impossible to feed through the buckle without untying the knot in the end. I'm sure I'm missing something but I just used my own solution until I figure it out. I'll be sure to update this review if the tarp is less than waterproof once I encounter my first shower, but for now it seems perfect. Blocks the sun, isn't noisy like a traditional tarp, and the entire package is pleasingly lightweight, including the aluminum stakes. Would buy again!**edit**I'm in the hammock right now and it's pouring rain. I'm staying perfectly dry!

Rugged, flexible, waterproof: Just what you want
We bought the Honest Outfitters Hammock Rain Fly for use on a camping trip on the Gunflint Trail in Northern Minnesota, on the edge of the BWCAW. The rain fly proved itself: rugged, durable, waterproof. Set up was a breeze. It kept the hammock dry and the kids failed to damage it (despite trying). This thing has some serious flexibility too: it can double as an awning/vestibule/garage for your tent.To the good people at Honest Outfitters, my only request is to come up with some ingenious (read: easy, fast) way of stowing the stakes and ropes so they don't tangle in between uses. Taking this down in such a way that stuff would't tangle was the only hiccup in an awesome experience.

Great deal, easy set up!
This rainfly truly is great! Set up is easy and the tarp is sturdy. Definitely worth the money compared to a lot of other brands that are way over priced. The two grey rainflies in the front of the photo are mine and my husbands, they are honest outfitters, the one in the back is and Arno rainfly and its our friends. After we set up he commented on how much nicer our tarps were and that they’re were much bigger than his eno brand one.

It will keep you dry
I set it up in my backyard just to get a feel for it before I took it camping and there was a bit of trial and error for the first time set up to get all the ropes where they needed to be. But once I got it figured out it was really easy to set up. I had it up during a thunderstorm with hail and I stayed dry under it. I can definitely rely on this anytime I go camping.

Great value for a space saving fly
Seems well built and it will save me some pack space over my old cool blue tarp for sure. Haven't used it but initial inspection seems great. Will try to get it out in the rain next storm and report back.

The best part of this is the Lifetime warranty
The best part of this is the Lifetime warranty. It sets up pretty easily too. I recommend using a half-hitch knot to adjust the tightness on the ropes. A video to show how to set it up would have been really nice but it's not hard to figure out.
