90 LP Case:Cons: I was expecting this storage case to be carpeted on the inside, it is not carpeted on the inside. It is more important to carpet the inside to cushion valuable vinyl albums. Being carpeted on the outside it picks up all kinds of lint and hair. The placement of the handle is ok, but this case needs additional handles on each side because when it is full of vinyl it is quite heavy and one handle on the top is awkward trying to carry. If it is only half full the albums they fall forward when carrying this using the top handle. I don't like the detachable lid as it falls off too easily when opened.Pros: It is very sturdy and built well. I feel it will protect my albums. I did like the fact that the latch is made to be able to put a little padlock on it.____________________200 45 RPM Case:Cons: The handle is in the front which is not a good placement either. There should be handles on the sides as well and one on the top. The carpet or glue smell is really strong and smells pretty toxic. I have no idea how long it will take for the smell to go away. I don't like the detachable lid as it falls off too easily when opened.Pros: This one is carpeted on the inside. It is built well and I think it will protect my 45's well. The latches are made to put a padlock on them.____________________I was originally going to give this four stars but after finishing my review I have more cons than pros, so I changed it to three stars. Would I buy these again, probably not. I would look for a better alternative. These vinyl storage cases need to be redesigned. The case itself is made out of I'm guessing a black coated particle board which is heavy, then when adding vinyl it is just way to heavy and clunky. It seems there would be a study lightweight alternative material they could use to make these with. In reading the description on them I thought they would be perfect, but they fall short of being perfect.
