Unfortunately, this “water proof” box is anything but - and the return window has closed. My daughter and I used this to take pictures for a school project. Even with me neurotically checking to ensure all the valves were closed and the case was clicked tightly ... water still got in. Fortunately the water did not destroy her phone - but I think that is because we had so much difficulty with the touch screen, that I was overchecking the picture quality. Pictures were blurry because of condensation on the camera lens ... from water getting into the case. Can not recommend this product.

It's very easy to place the iPod in the case and snap it together however, the screen protector is flimsy and doesn't fit snug to the screen which decreases the sensitivity of the touch screen making it harder to navigate apps and type. The first day of use my 12 year old dropped his iPod onto a soft linoleum floor and the screen on the device went blank and would only display vertical lines; which is not only a testament to the the lack of durability of the device, but also the inability of the case to absorb minimal shock. Lastly, some 3.5mm plugs for a headset with microphone are too large to push into the audio port resulting in having to remove the devise from the case so the accessory can be utilized. Overall it's not a bad case for conscientious, responsible users. Would not recommend for rambunctious children.

Sturdy rubbery casing. Love that it is see through on both sides so I don't forget the actual color of my iPod. The only con is that it didn't come with the headphone adapter. Since it's a waterproof case the opening for headphone connection is smaller. This is the 1st waterproof case I've purchased that didn't come with a headphone adapter. My car is older so I have to plug my iPod up through auxiliary jack, I guess I'll have to buy a separate one for this case to use it.

I have come to like this case very much. I had some apprehensions as to the touch sensitivity of the screen under the plastic cover, but in fact the sensitivity is hardly at all compromised. It is only at the very bottom of the screen, just above the home button that you have to push it sometimes a bit stronger than you normally would. 95% of the screen’s surface reacts exactly as it would without the case over it. As to taking photos, however, there is a sensible difference. If you want really sharp photos, like for example of a printed page, take off the case. I personally use this case only on weekdays, in order to protect my iPod at work. As soon as the weekend arrives, I change her in Sunday clothes, a light silicone case without screen protection. :-)

My old ipod about 10 years old fell and landed right in the pool. The new ones have available waterproof covers which I bought. It really seems to make it water tight. I'm not going to throw it into the pool to find out though.

Useless...Cannot use charging or headphone jacks with cover on. It’s too bad, nice case. Wish it worked

I was a little nervous, after reading some reviews. But the case has gone on and off no problem. There has been no decrease in touch screen sensitivity. It is very sturdy. I bought additional ones for other members of the family.
