Will this work for the 6.8 spc

The .270 case appears to me too wide and too long to be inserted in a 6.8spc chamber. I would consult a gunsmith or gun dealer before attempting to chamber a .270 boresight case. Sightmark appears to offer the SM39023 6.8 Rem SPC boresight. Check with them. Best of luck.

it should work with 270s. Myself I would buy a different brand. This did not function well, at least the one I received. good luck.

Will this work on a 35Whelen?

Yes. It will work in any chamber of any cartridge formed from a 30-06 case, with a minimum bullet diameter of .25. It will work in a .35 Whelen. I own a .35 Whelen. It works.
