I recently purchased the VanHaus water pump to drain my hot tub, and I couldn’t be more impressed with its performance. Used this to empty a 10ft pool. Did the job in 2hrs. Comes with a hose and was really easy to assemble and work out how to use it. Could have done with a bag to put the machine in but happy with price

VonHaus is a brand I trust. This pump confirms that. It's sturdy, reliable and does the job. The lay-flat tubing needs a straight run avoiding kinks to allow the pump to operate fully. Would recommend as an inexpensive pump.

AMAZING! I couldn’t believe how easy this was to set up AND it literally drained our hot tub within ten minutes and our water butt took no time at all. SO impressed. Thank you for making a job sooo easy :).

Have only used twice but first impressions are very favourable This was purchesed to help me empty an above ground swimming pool that I put up each year for the grand childrens school summer holidays.so as of writing this I havent used it for that purpose ,but its other use that I was intending to use it for was to transfer water from my water butts to various ponds i have in my garden rather than filling watercans or bucket after bucket and walking these carefully across the garden I have 3 slimline1000 litre water buts with the small removable lids that stand on those little 4 part stands that you clip together and all though it is a tight fit the pump will just fit into each one and pumps the water directly into your pond or evan your flower bed if you wanted the float works efficently and so for the money would deffinatly recomend purchase if you just want a pump to use occasionaly

Bought this to empty hot tub. Nice long white tubing for ease of emptying. Had to attach clip with screwdriver to hold tubing on. It's says to attach your own rope to it if you want, for lifting it in and out of water maybe?? It has a float which stops the pump once it touches the bottom. It still had water left but that was easy to tip out. Far easier than emptying it all by hand and quicker. Took about 35 mins to empty I was very impressed. The diagram makes it look like the tubing should go on further but it worked fine as it was. Water was coming out where I'd attached it but I mustn't have tightened it enough, but it was still quick and worked just fine. Worth the money as it did the job quickly. I've got the bahamas lazy hot tub.

Pumps water Well easy to used however leaves about 1in to 1 1/2 in of water in the bottom of the tub . Also the soft hose supplied with the pump kinks quite a lot .

Ideal for emptying out hot tube and very well made price is good not much more i can say really i would recommend this to anyone
