My 18 month old was anemic and needed to take his iron supplement. I was trying to find an alternative for him cause 1) he HATED taking it and 2) it was upsetting his stomach. So I did research and read about novaferrum yum. My partner and I decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. He took it with no hesitation! I couldn't believe it! It smells much better than the other stuff and it tastes better too (yes I tasted it, dont judge me) so glad we made the switch. It does stain so just brush your child's teeth after!

2nd purchace very satified. Love the price and for what you get also a really nice dose or iron. My toddler isn't fussy and is a picky eater. Ever since she was 1 year and 3 months every morning I warm up hot whole milk whisk in an egg, add her vitamin and 1 spoon of sugar and more cold milk shake it up and she has this every morning. Only time she has sugar to mask the eggy taste which she doesnt like but this vitamin adds a great flavor she loves to her morning milk. She is a very healthy toddler now. Doc said she is doing great eith weight and height.

My son was diagnosed as anemic at his 1 year check up. I have tried all few iron supplements, amd this is the o ly one I can get him to eat. He still doesn't LIKE it. But he will eat it without spitting it out or crying. I will update after his recheck on if it helps with his anemia. UPDATE: My son now actually likes the flavor, I guess it's an acquired taste. He gets excited to take this every morning. We had his doctor check up, and his anemia is gone! So I updated from 4 to 5 stars.

Was so glad to find a gluten free vitamin with iron for my toddler with celiac. All the in-store options near me contained wheat. This product appears to be high quality and good ingredients. I wish it came with a syringe or dropper though. My toddler has mixed reviews about the taste but it gets the job done for what we need! Will buy again

Excellent Arrived well packaged as described. Flavor is great my kids fight and beg for extra because of the good taste.

My daughter loves the taste of his stuff so much, that every night at bedtime she grabs it off of the shelf and starts to shake it (knowing that it needs to be shaken), then tries to hand it to me! I can’t say I’ve tasted it myself, but it must be pretty good for her to basically ask for it. I haven’t seen any side effects after giving this to her for three months. This really is easy to give to her. I tried a different brand prior to this and it had that really strong iron smell to it so I doubt that it tasted very good but this one is far away superior.

My toddler really likes the taste & actually gets excited to drink it; tastes/smells very metallic'ish but that's the iron, so no complaints

I decided to give these a try because when my babies came home from the NICU, they were prescribed the enfamil poly-vi-sol multivitamin with iron. It smells and tastes horrible. It was a struggle to get them to drink the entire bottle if I put it in their milk. So I said ok, let’s try something new which led me to these. I tried it and was like ok it tastes better. And they took their bottles no problem. For me this was an absolute WIN. The twins would drink the entire bottle and not fuss. However, my babies are breastfed and normally poop everyday, the maximum time between poops might be 2 days but usually everyday. When they took these, they would literally go 7 days without pooping to the point where we had to use a suppository to get them to poop! And then it would come out much thicker and much MORE than their normal poops… as if their intestines were backed up. I’ll admit that one of my twins might go 2 days in between poops but the other twin would poop at least once a day, most times 2-3 times a day. So to go this long without pooping was concerning. By time they got to the 7th day, they were cranky and gassy. This made me look at the difference between this multivitamin and the enfamil one. Well apparently the type of iron they use in this multivitamin is associated with more episodes of constipation. And that was the case for my twins. I took them off this vitamin and after 3/4 days, they both pooped without a suppository. I then put them back on the poly-vi-sol, and they pooped like normal. So while I wanted to love this vitamin, I can’t. The constipation it caused is not worth it. The tastes was definitely better than the enfamil one though. I wish it didn’t lead to constipation or else we would still be using these.

I bought this product in end October and the expiry was Jan 2024. This is way too short an expiry date for a bottle with 120 servings and I'll probably have to bin it even before baby finishes using this product. Not impressed with this.

I rarely review stuff I bought on Amazon but for Yum iron with added vitamins I would give 10 stars. It really made a huge difference in my children, especially my youngest daughter (she is 4 yrs old). She used to hate going to school, feel grumpy all the time, cry and throw tantrums for the tiniest things, scream and shout nonstop. I used this for a few days and her mood completely changed. She would go to school more happy, even her teachers were amazed by the difference. The tantrums, screaming and crying are almost to a zero now. So amazing. I tried other iron supplements before but this one is by far the best in all aspects: the taste, the effectiveness, and quality. I really recommend this to anyone. It truly is amazing.
