My husband awoke today to find a little gift bag with his cards and this present - an elegant slim, black face good dial wristwatch. He is thrilled. It looks good, is easy to read and is not a bulky, multi-functional status symbol. It is simple sophistication. We both love it.

Good to look at and easy to read. I have had the watch for some months now and the accuracy is impressive at the price. Gaining about three seconds a month there is no need to make any corrections except when there are less than 31 days in the month. The date window is very small and not a feature that I use so for me the watch only needs attention twice a year when the hour changes!

There is nothing I dislike about the watch. It is thin, easy to read, smart looking and suitable for formal or casual wear. So far it has kept perfect time. Very happy with the product

The presentation, look and feel of this watch is first class but then after 4 weeks it stopped. I reset it and it worked for a further 2 weeks. I then reluctantly thought I’d have to bite the bullet and buy a new battery for a 6 week old watch. I then noticed that the small screw to alter the time had become detached. Sadly based on my experience I’d say don’t touch this product. I’m so disappointed by it

Good value and arrived on the time and date stated

I bought this 15 months ago ( I may have written a review at that time but as time as passed, this one is more accurate). It was advertised as luminous, it wasn't the case. I decided not to seek a replacement. The watch kept good time and, apart from the date ( too small to see) it is easy to view the time. It's light and comfortable to wear. My gripe now is that it has stopped working. I thought it was the battery so put a new one in and it worked ok for a few hours. Then, it stopped again. I contacted the company through there feedback form, 24/48 hr response time. 7 days have elapsed and I've heard nothing. I suppose it's of no interest to them and they'll hide behind the 1 year warranty. However the sale of Goods Act does indicate that products should last for a reasonable period of time. OK, the watch was cheap at £35, but it wasn't out of a lucky bag! I think it reasonable that it should last for more than 15 months. I won't buy from this company again and indeed, I'll explore more carefully, glossy websites that promise an aftersales service. I know others will disagree about that but I'm writing of my own experience. As a footnote, Amazon asked if the seller had resolved the issue but when I said no, they too went quiet.

I was surprised how good this watch is for such a competitive price. It looks great and is accurate. Would make a really good present for someone.

Very nice, elegant looking watch. However, I took off 1 star because it's not quite as thin as it looks. Still, it is great value for money.
