So my baby nails grow extremely fast and she had been scratching herself and everyone else so I purchased this and use it once every week and half to trim her nails and she doesn’t cry fuss or anything. It doesn’t hurt or make loud sound but it definitely trips her nails down , super satisfying and worth every dime.

Easy and best way to trim baby newborns nails. Just wait til they are asleep you will struggle less. Hold their finger firmly so it doesn't wobble away from the file. Light could be better placed but works great as is.

I didn't buy this for the light, I bought it for the the delicate but functional filing of the nails. My daughter barely notices that I am doing anything. Even when my angle is wrong and a nail catches slightly, this machine is gentle enough that it doesn't cause her any discomfort. Both fingers and toes have been easily managed and this has been a great investment. Battery life is good, she is over 2 months old now, with weekly trimming and no need for batteries yet. This is so much easier than clippers with these little ones.

Got this for myself after using it on a little boy(2 yr old) i take care of. He sits still just long enough to do both hands without a fight. Now I can do my own nails quickly and easily.

Nail trimming was a real battleground for our non verbal kiddo with sensory issues. The screams, the tears, having to restrain her just to clip a fingernail, it was heartbreaking. Now? Thing of the past! Our kiddo absolutely loves this trimmer and will sit quietly and patiently while we trim each nail. This is a brilliant tool and works just as well as more expensive versions. It DOES take a little practice so go slow, brace your kiddo’s finger by holding it gently between your own, move the file around to round off the edges and avoid splits/cracks. I have struggled to cut my daughter’s nails due to accidentally cutting her skin. I got this and it’s so easy to use! Absolutely love it!!! Highly recommend for anyone, but especially first time parents!!!

I used to use a tiny emery board on my baby's nails while she was asleep because I'm terrified to accidentally snip skin with fingernail clippers. The emery board took forever. This contraption is not only safe, I tested it on my skin and it did not hurt at all, but so quick. I can even use it while she is awake! It leaves perfect nails with no sharp edges like with clippers (if you are a braver soul than I to use them on wriggly infants). Seriously, this thing is great.

It turns off and stops working during use. I have to spin it to get it going again. It’s so annoying. It’s gotten worse after 2 months of using. I get so irritated I want to throw it. The unit itself has a small light attached, however, it’s blocked by the file so it doesn’t really help when coming from a “head on” angle. I like to do my baby nails while she sleeping. Doesn’t wake her up and when she is up she is not bothered by it at all. I love it when it decides to work.
