They are cute and easy to put on. However, they were not worn very much and fell apart by the end of summer. Beforehand we had been giving him the more closed sneaker like sandal. But our 7 year old son has very wide feet, and it got to the point that those type of sneaker sandals were way to narrow on him. So my wife came across these and they were perfect. The fit is great and he likes them, and they have the added benefit of protecting the toes which other sandals do not.
