Kindle PowerFast Charger for Accelerated Charging for the EU (for Kindle Fire tablets and Kindle e-readers)

When I purchased the Kindle Fire HDX 7 tablet, I suddenly saw this PowerFast charger added to my order. My first thought was 'what's this? I already have a EU plug for USB charging.' When reading more about this charger and its reviews, it seemed to really charge the Kindle within a few hours. I decided to order it.Very glad I did. Charging time is incredibly short, compared to a regular USB wall plug. For carrying my Kindle tablet around, I will take my Anker Astro 5600 power battery along instead of this rather bulky power plug. But for longer trips, and most certainly while at home, this charging plug is a must.

Pro: Charger is quite small and pretty -- I like its looks, especially its deep black color, rather more than that of iPad's charger.Contra: on hot days under heavy usage it sometims stops charging for some time (about 10-60s IIRC) then resumes. I suspect this is caused by overheating protection circuitry. I had never had any overheating problems with iPad's charger though, so this one is definitely in need of improvement.

Yes! - It's necessary to have such, but strangely it is not included in the purchase. I've never been exposed to that you have to buy a charcher next to a product. Therefore only 4 stars.

I got it for free so I shouldn't complain about it, but I think it's a little bit too thick, therefore not so easy to carry around.

I have it because it was part of the purchase of the Kindle but I find it very cumbersome in size.Dont have enough technical knowledge to compare it to anything else but I hope that if Amazone recommends it, it isa good piece of equipment.

Try not to send this by post because the Argentine customs now considers them of risk and they retained the merchandise. Advise not to buy please. I had to pay an important cup more 90 dollars to DHL besides the cup punishment of the Customs

The charger is very easy to use and amazingly I can use it to charge my Nokia phone when I travel. I don't know about my husband's Motorola but will check that as well. Good to know just in case and when traveling.

Well, it does what it's supposed to do, fits nicely where it's supposed to fit and takes no more room than it's supposed to take. A winner, in my opinion.

Une véritable arnaque d'inciter à l'achat de ce chargeur lorsque l'on achète la Kindle et ce sans montrer clairement de quel type de chargeur il s'agit. Le chargeur étant très peu visible sur la photo et rien n'est précisé dans le descriptif. Cependant il s'agit d'un chargeur universel et j'en possède déjà énormément. Je l'ai acheté pensant que c'était obligatoire vis à vis de la compatibilité car il portait le logo de Amazon j'ai donc penser que c'était le seul chargeur compatible pour charger ma Kindle. Vous pouvez utiliser n'importe quel chargeur universel pour la charger...

J'ai acheté ce chargeur en pensant qu'il est était indispensable pour recharger la Kindle sachant que le câble de recharge est déjà fourni avec la liseuse.Il s'avère qu'il s'agit d'un simple chargeur USB, n'importe quel chargeur de téléphone aurait pu faire l'affaire.Mais ...il y a quand même 3 avantages pour ce chargeur :> l'intensité de sortie est importante il s'agit d'un chargeur 1,8A ce qui est supérieur à l'intensité moyenne d'un chargeur lambda. Au final la liseuse se recharge rapidement ce qui est top> Il est solide et fiable, après 5 ans d'utilisation je n'ai eu aucun soucis ou panne> Il est élégant!Au final il s'agit d'un bon produit, le seul hic c'est son prix.

Si conectas el kindle a un ordenador la carga es muy lenta.Sin embargo utilizando este dispositivo la carga es realmente rápida.La relación calidad-precio está bastante bien. Sin embargo dada su importancia y utilidad me parece que debiera venir incluido con la compra del kindle y ser gratuito.

Bueno, bonito y barato. Lo compré para un kindle y lo he acabado usando para todo. Es una maravilla.

È un semplicissimo caricabatteria da muro che potete utilizzare con tutti i dispositivi dotati di USB. Lo utilizzo sia per ricaricare il Kindle Fire che per il PaperWhite ma onestamente lo sfrutti anche per caricare la batteria del mio smartphone ed effettivamente ci impiega davvero pochissimo tempo.Il prezzo onestamente è un po' troppo alto
