Veronese 11 Inch Tall Ascending Angel Cold Cast Resin Antique Bronze Finish Statue

This will be a Christmas present for a friend with an illness. I'm praying he will give her strength and the courage she needs to fight this enemy. A truly beautiful piece of art.

The detail on this statuette is superb that the sculptor must have been a student of a great sculptor.

This is such a beautiful statue. I have it in my office. The detail is better than expected. Wow!

My husband had been wanting a statue of Archangel Michael, but none he'd seen over the years "spoke to him" of what he understood to be this angel's true essence. Although this piece is titled "Ascending Warrior Angel" I immediately thought "THIS is Michael!" when I saw it. So I got it as a surprise birthday present for my husband and couldn't wait until he saw it, hoping this was what his heart has been searching for. He immediately cried "My Angel Michael," held it and gazed at it for the longest time. It now sits beside his computer; sometimes he actually uses the computer! I believe we have learned this "warrior" angel's true name. His power, his openness, his prayerful face are absolutely exquisite. It will be treasured for the rest of his (and my) life.

This is such a beautiful piece. The level of detail and the energy it holds in the pose is just incredible. Even better in person than the pic. It's small enough so it can be on a desk or table top (stands at 11" tall). But the quality of the casting and all is truly great workmanship. I highly recommend it.

Wasn’t happy that the gift wasn’t gift wrapped and left on the porch

In the picture, it appears to show a 'blue-hued' highlight on the angel's wings... but that is not the case. The highlights are in fact WHITE and very slight; I plan to add blue highlights myself as that was what I was hoping the color was. Other than that, the statue is absolutely perfect and large!! I noticed someone in a review talked about how small it is, but there are two different sizes of this statue... this one that is 11" and another that is around 6".

The detail on this is extraordinary. The painting on the leather straps and belt just adds such a nice subtle touch that really sets it off. Even on the back of it the hair extends down and there is just care taken with every bit of this statue. I was very impressed and happy with buying this and it stands in view to look at and admire everyday.

The fit and finish of the figurine are excellent. The details and work are intricate and the size is decent. If you are a collector, just go for it... you won't be disappointed at all.

Cet ange m’a tout de suite attiré, après avoir lu la description, j’ai décidé de l’acheter. Quand je l’ai reçu, j’ai été un peu déçue par la hauteur, je croyais qu’il serait plus haut. J’avais pourtant bien lu le descriptif (hauteur, poids, largeur, etc.) mais bon... Je le trouve très beau !
