Scrumbles Calming Turkey Nibbles Dog Treats 100g

My girl pup loves these, clearly happy with the taste, good quality, easy to use and seems fine for her teeth, with a good amount of chewing, she doesn't just swallow them like she does with some other treats. My girls10 months old so she's pretty much into anything, Do these calm her down? Jury's out on that one, but they do her no harm and I keep telling myself that they make her calmer in the evenings when we're ready to snuggle down.

My daughters assistance dog totally hates the sound of fireworks - and who can blame her? Each year there is the same issue and she has tried many things to keep the dog calm and ends up resorting to turning music up louder to try and mask the sound. I saw a review of this product in a Welsh newspaper and was interested not only in their comments but comments from users who report the product to be effective. I ordered a pack of two and the dog was quite happy to eat a couple each day. Did they work to keep her calm? This is the million pound question. My daughter reports that the dog was still startled by some of the loud bangs in her area but did feel that the dog was generally calmer than before. Given these arrived only a couple of days before 5th November, they might have needed a bit more time to get into the system and work better. Even so, she was satisfied that these calming treats did work somewhat. There are still plenty left in the first pack and I believe these are being kept for the run-up to New Year's Eve, which is generally very noisy in many places. The price of this product is exceptional and I feel it was a worthwhile purchase. Given it did show improvements in the dog's behaviour I am quite happy to recommend this and I'm sure we'll be purchasing more in the future.

Dog loves them

I have 2 different breeds of dogs, and neither of them wanted these. My shih-tzu sniffed and walked away. I tried several times over a couple of days. I also have a recently rescued dog, taken off the streets of Romania, you would think she would eat anything you offered her - nope, a sniff, then she jumped off the chair. So I have to say, they may be good for some dogs, but definitely not my dogs.

My dog can be picky about which treats she likes. With Scrumbles, she never refuses them. They're absolutely her favourite, no questions asked.

I purchased these Scrumbles Calming treats as an alternative to our regular ones for our labrador. These are hypoallergenic which is great as there's a few ingredients she can't have due to allergies and these are free from all of those. They're quite large treats, 2.5cm in diameter and 0.6cm thick, roughly the same size as a 10p coin and i counted 31 treats in the bag which is a decent amount and good value. They're a crumbly biscuit texture, easy to break in half for a smaller sized dog. I've not tried them for taste but my dog loves them. She never turns her nose up at these and will always want more, yet she can be very picky at times so these are obviously good. The ingredients are natural with no rubbish and include chamomile and lemon balm for their calming properties. Do they work? Kind of yes, if she has 4 or 5 treats at once or spread out over the day to keep her topped up then they just help to take the edge off a bit but they don't make her settle for a 2 hour nap for example. She has a habit of waking us up during the night though and these do seem to help her sleep through better after a busy day. Overall, I really like these Scrumbles Calming treats. So does our dog so we'll be buying these again.
