So glad I found these oyster crackers!
Keebler Oyster Crackers have been a favorite of mine for years. They are buttery, crunchy and absolutely the best I have ever tasted! Then, that familiar red box became harder and harder to find in local stores in metro Atlanta. I could occasionally find boxes at Publix, but then they dissapeared. After months of frustration I found a Publix Manager and asked him why they no longer carried Keebler Oyster Crackers. He dissapeared for about 10 minutes, returned with a puzzled face and said "they have been discontinued. I just checked with my distributor." WHAT?!! You are kidding me, right? Well, maybe they have been discontinued in Atlanta. Or, maybe they have been discontinued in boxes. But, it just didn't make sense to me that Keebler would discontinue their oyster crackers all together... This is why I checked to see if Amazon offered these crackers. Amazon did, and after about 2 years of frustration I ordered these crackers right away! I was thrilled to see them offered! Plus, they came to my front door in a few days. These 0.5 oz. packs are just right and go great with any soup or chili. The price was good too. You can bet that I will order these again!

The best oyster crackers.

Great taste and value!
The reviews are true about the non-sealing of the bag. They simply twist it a few times, and lay it down flat on top. They do however pack it tight, so really wasn't a big issue. The crackers were very fresh, and had a nice hint of butter favor. Just a hint of salt, so no worry of sodium overload. I filled up 6 one gallon ziploc bags with these tasty morsels! They are dime size and relatively flat, so don't expect a big puffy oyster cracker. They are definitely worth the money, and great to snack on!

Single giant bag of great, slightly buttery crackers.
I thought this would be multiple smaller bags (my mistake); required transferring to baggies for storage. Great taste.

Kellogs should be ashamed and embarassed.....
Thought I had made a very good purchase when I ordered a 10 pound box of Kellogg's Oyster Crackers and was feeling good about opening and dividing them into gallon storage bags to keep them fresh until needed. Unfortunately, the first thing I noticed was the plastic packaging inside the box was not completely sealed and some of the crackers had spilled out and were in contact with the cardboard shipping container. This also created suspicion that freshness could have already been compromised. The main complaint with this product was the size of the individual crackers which were very, very small compared to other brands like Nabisco and even Kroger's boxed crackers and more like the very low priced brands at Walmart. The taste of these are very good and even the freshness and crispness was surprising but the money saved by buying in bulk is not worth the inferior quality.

Amazing crackers with an amazing story.
I remember eating clam chowder years ago and having the most amazing oyster crackers. I couldn’t remember the name, just the amazing buttery taste. Fast forward a few years and I met an amazing woman. Not only is this woman incredibly intelligent she is also an amazing cook. Being a bit of a foodie myself we hit it off. I make a pretty darn good clam chowder but it was always missing the right crackers. I couldn’t put my finger on it and I couldn’t find anything that matched the amazing experience I had consuming those crackers years ago. How does this amazing woman fit into this picture? She knew exactly what cracker I was talking about. Then we found it on Amazon. You can find anything on Amazon. Now I’m searching for an engagement ring shaped like these amazing crackers. Hey, I can’t let this one go because any woman that can instantly identity an oyster cracker is a keeper.

Keebler Zesta Oyster Crackers are the BEST!!
The best Chili and Soup restaurants in our area serve Zesta crackers that have a buttery/salty flavor and are light and flakey. Way better than any other oyster cracker that I've tried. As other reviewers note, you cannot buy these in Grocery stores. Just got the big box of individual packets and love them. Fresh, in tact, and super convenient to only open as many packets as you need, keeping the rest fresh for later.

Box was bulging, top contents crushed
I’m guessing this was repacked before shipping. The box was overfilled, and the flaps taped closed over bulging contents. Shipped in its original box, so no cushioning during transport. The top couple handfuls were crushed and some split, with crumbs spilling out. The crackers are tasty and a good value for the money. Trouble is, the crumbs are now a pest magnet. So now I’m spending time and materials on packaging. Not such a good value after all.
