This Meguiar’s gel fixes that fast. I squeeze a bit on a foam pad, wipe it around the tire, and it gives a deep black shine without looking fake. It holds up through a couple of rainy days and doesn’t sling all over the paint when you drive. One of my trainers rolled up for a Saturday bootcamp and someone actually asked if he got new tires. That made me glad i stocked this in our little supply closet.

I have been using this stuff for close to 5 years now. Maybe longer. I go with this over the other options because it stays wet looking, doesnt sling all over my truck when I drive after applying and lasts for weeks. The initial wet shine lasts roughly a week. The dark black tone stays on the tires for about a month depending on your driving conditions. In the past I have used Tire Wet by Black Magic, Black Magic's Tire Gel, Eagle 1 Tire Wet, and I recently tried Meguiars new Ultimate Black Tire Spray. This stuff bests all those, and so I just bought two more bottles. Nothing has done as good a job and looks as nice for as long as the Tire Gel here. For application, a little goes a long way, you can start heavy to do the first wheel, spread evenly and reapply to your applicator for each additional wheel. If you use a tire gel or spray sponge you need less each wheel because it builds up in the sponge. I have used the Eagle 1 and Carrand sponges for years. They are both good, though I prefer the Carrand Tire Applicator because it has a handle and wide curve surface to coat the entire tire in 1 or 2 passes. Less work on the shoulders after doing all 4 tires. I wash my vehicles every week, sometimes 2 times depending on the time of year. I live in Va Beach, so when they threaten snow in the winter, all sort of chemicals go down on the roads. So washing my vehicle repeatedly each week, this product doesn't wear off quickly. Smells nice too, not that it matters. I think its a grape smell, but not 100% sure. I use it now on my '12 Sierra Denali, and before on my '09 Silverado Crew Cab and '02 Dodge Intrepid R/T. Tires always look nice and the shine lasts. Just ordered 2 more bottles. I definitely recommend this stuff. Like I said, goes on smooth, smells, nice and your paint wont wear it down the side when you are driving. I reapply about every 2 weeks, after a few washes to keep the wheels nice and black.

This is the first tire shine in a long time that actually made the tires shiny & did not create black spots down the side of my car after putting it on! Super easy to apply & dried rather quickly. 100% worth the money!

I have used a lot of tire dressings over the years, and this one does exactly what it claims if you want a deep, glossy finish. Application is straightforward. The gel is thick enough that it does not drip or run, and it spreads evenly with a foam applicator. One small amount goes a long way. The finish is on the high-gloss side, not satin, so this is better suited for people who like a darker, wetter look on their tires. Longevity is solid. After normal driving, the shine holds up well and does not immediately fade. I did not experience excessive sling as long as I wiped off the excess and let it set before driving. If you prefer a more natural, matte look, this is probably not the right product. If you want a noticeable, long-lasting gloss, this one works as expected.

This is a great tire shine gel that lasts a reasonable time (I'd say 2-3 weeks or possibly longer in dry weather). The key to using this product is to use it correctly and if you do so, the results are pretty good. Before you apply it, you will need one of this and I cannot recommend this tire gel applicator foam enough, from Chemical Guys, on sale in Amazon. Step 1: Apply the product on to the applicator. Best rule of thumb as to how much product to apply would be to kind of fill in the ridges of the black side applicator face (this is the end you'd use to apply product). Notice right after you pour product on the applicator, the foam absorbs it so be careful not to excessively saturate the foam applicator. Step 2: Once you made a pass at all the ridges of the applicator, just apply it on the sidewall by exerting some pressure. So the clue to whether you've got right amount of gel is it should not be splattering or squeezing out (this would indicate excess product) of the foam applicator. Just wipe thru the whole sidewall of the tire exerting some pressure on to the foam so the absorbed product disperses. Step 3: When you move on to tires 2, 3 and 4, use half of what you put on the first time. Remember...the first application has adequately saturated the applicator face so there is product left in it so less product is good. To err on the side of caution, put on sparingly for the subsequent tires and if you find there isn't enough product absorbed in the applicator, you can put on more. Rinse and repeat this for all the tires (2, 3 and 4). Couple of application tips. This stuff is messy (I found out while trying to wash the foam applicator after application) so be careful not to get the stuff on your hands. Maybe gloves would be a good idea.. Wash the foam applicators carefully with soap and hot water later. Probably soak it in soap and hot water for 20-30 min before you wring out the applicator and you probably have to do this a few times to get the applicator clean. The tire gel is messy if it gets on your hands and it looks slimy when it comes out . Also I followed the tip of applying this in late evening or night and let the gel dry just to avoid any possible sling. This worked for me well. I just put it on in the evening when I know I won't be driving the car till the morning. I cannot say if this product slings or not per se right after application and driving but I didn't want to find out the hard way so I just applied it and let it dry overnight. I've had no sling that way. Couple of other things. You can put on two coats if you want after 10-15 min interval. Make sure not to use excess product. And lastly, the part of the tire that sits on the ground while you apply..if you want to cover that, just move the car forward a feet or two after you are done with all the 4 tires and then go back and cover that ground. It is kinda difficult to do when it is on the ground. Verdict: This is a great product if used right. Doesn't take much time to do it but be sure to follow the right application tips and your tires will be nice and shiny. I forgot to take pics the first time but next time I will take some pics and add to this post. I am also yet to discover how this product stands up in wetter places but kinda hard to test that in AZ. Monsoon season is coming up so maybe I'll find out them how this holds up in the wet.

You don't need alot to get a great shine. After a few rains the shine is gone but the tires remain dar black. I bought this specifically for the rust color that forms on my tires. This tire gel totally cured that and lasted for weeks. This is the only tire shine I will ever purchase!

This is definitely the best product I've ever used for car detailing. Forget Armorall, that stuff fades in mere hours. This, much thicker, product lasts for day if not weeks. It perfectly blackens tires with a nice, glossy deep finish, sure. But You can use it on any plastic, vinyl, or rubber on the car! It makes the engine shine, hoses turn brand new, dashboards and steering wheels sparkle. Its thicker make up rehydrates window fittings and door gaskets. Best of all, it smells great too (It smells grape.) A little goes a VERY long way. One bottle lasted me over two years, and I detailed my car at least twice a month. Look no further. Buy it.

Die Gel artige Flüssigkeit wurde sehr gut von der Reifenoberfläche aufgenommen und bildet einen mattschwarzen Film, der nicht klebt oder staubanziehend ist. Selbst nach ca. 2 Wochen sieht es noch immer Neu aus und verleiht dem Fahrzeug einen neuwertigen Touch. Ich kann dieses ,, Wundermittel " nur weiterempfehlen und würde es absolut wieder kaufen. Si te gusta el brillo, este es uno de lo mejores productos.si no el mejor. Gel por lo que se gasta poco y dura bastante. El efecto se mantiene de forma aceptable en torno a una semana. A mas producto mas brillo pudiendo matizarse un poco si pasas un trapo y quitas exceso de producto. Tiene un tapon que es muy comodo y limpio de usar, pero que como defecto puede abrirse facilmente con cualquier golpe, de hecho a mas de uno le ha llegado abierto y el producto derramado,, pero a mi me llegó con un precinto de cinta añadido para evitar esto durante el transporte, sin duda un buen detalle por parte del vendedor preocupado porque esto no ocurra y con la satisfaccion del cliente.
