Size 16 with big hips
These are excellent quality and the print was not distorted when worn. I washed them on gentle cycle inside out and air-dried.I'm ordering more pairs in solids and prints. I've never worn Lulu Roe, but these are pretty damn great. Here are my measurements:Height - 5'4"Weight - 197 lbsWaist - 35.5"Hips - 48.5"Inseam - 28"

Amazing leggings that fit a 6' gal! Your wallet and body will thank you if you buy a pair! :)
I was one of those girls that never wore leggings. They just didn't look good on me due to my height. All of my friends started jumping on the LuLaRoe bandwagon, but $25 for a pair of leggings....? No thanks! I finally broke down after a friend said the LuLaRoe TC leggings would be tall enuf for me, so I started researching different articles about the leggings. I stumbled upon a blog where a lady bought a pair of LuLaRoe and these by Viv and she just raved on the ones by VIV. After reading her blog post I decided to give leggings a try, and I love these leggings! I am 6'1 and these are actually long enuf for me. They are super stretchy and really comfortable to wear. They are comparable with LuLaRoe TC leggings and 1/2 the price. I have recommended these to all of my friends. I wash them in cold water and hang them to dry and have had no problems with the quality of material or shrinkage. I have ordered 3 pairs so far and plan on ordering many more. I wear them under my dresses, skirts, and with a long top (when I can actually find one due to having a long torso as well). I have gotten so many compliments and people ask where I've gotten them. If you are on the fence about leggings my advice is to take a plunge and try these out. For $12.99 what do you have to lose? You will want to live in these!

VIV beats LuLaRoe, IMO
I just bought 4 pairs of these leggings. I currently have two pairs of LuLaRoe Tall & Curvy leggings, one solid and one print, purchased in 2015, in case it matters, since I've heard about quality decline in LLR lately. I had heard such great things about VIV leggings but was a little concerned about some of the negative reviews. In my experience, so far, so good. I will definitely update my review if anything changes. When the leggings arrived, I inspected all of the seams and the material. I did not find any holes, and all the seams seemed to be very well-sewn. There were no loose strings anywhere. I don't remember if the negative reviews that I read were verified purchases, but I wonder if some of those reviewers had not purchased actual VIV leggings. Whether or not you consider the negative reviews (and I think it is important to consider them), if you do buy, make sure you are buying VIV leggings, sold by VIV.I tried all four pairs of the leggings on upon receipt. Some fit slightly bigger/smaller than others, but all fit well and relatively uniformly. I am currently a size 14/16, depending on the cut, and I am definitely heavier on the bottom (no skinny legs or small hips here) with a small waist. All of the pairs came up to my waist easily without any tugging. As a comparison to LLR, my LLR T&C printed ones run small and sometimes can be tough to pull up completely. My LLR T&C solid ones run big, and I have bagginess at the ankles and knees with the waist pulled up to my ribcage. The VIV ones were a nice happy medium between the two. I could pull them up to my ribcage if I tried, but there’s no major amount of extra fabric bunching at the waist if I don’t.I machine washed all four pairs inside out on cold and air dried them, which is how I launder my LLR leggings. Everything came out of the wash just fine. There were no problems with color bleeding, loose threads, or seams coming apart. As for feel, they do feel slightly different than LLR, in my opinion. LLR is a little thicker and cotton-y feeling, in my opinion. However, these are not too thin and do not display my underwear to anyone who might catch a glimpse of my butt (though I wear tunic tops that cover my butt). I actually prefer the thinner leggings because it does not get very cold where I live. If I still lived up north, I might prefer LLR thickness in the winter. The feel is similarly soft, though a little slicker than LLR.I am very pleased with the quality of the printed fabric. On my LLR printed pair, when I wear them, the print stretches out and has "blank spots", kind of like the print was drawn in dotted lines. The VIV prints are still continuous when I am wearing the leggings, if that makes sense.Price is a no-brainer. Fourteen bucks vs twenty-five for LLR (plus shipping, if the consultant I'm buying from isn't local) to get access to some LLR prints but not others and to feel like I have to make split-second decisions so as to beat out other buyers. I have gotten caught up in the excitement of a pop-up sale, but then I realized that I am a grown woman figuratively fighting with other grown women over leggings. Leggings! Here you can buy VIV leggings in whatever available prints there are, for the same price, with Prime shipping. Shop at your leisure, and there are plenty of prints to choose from. My buying the four pairs I did likely didn't keep you from being able to buy the same ones. Additionally, if there was something I didn’t like about what I purchased, or if a problem pops up, I’m dealing with a seller, who, at the time of writing, follows the Amazon return policy. Unfortunately, I’ve heard that LLR ties the hands of its consultants and makes it difficult for them to return defective products. From what I understand, buyers are often offered a replacement product, which is not likely to be the same item that they had. In other words, it’s uncommon to get your money back, and you’ll likely have to choose something different. If you simply changed your mind upon receipt, VIV, following Amazon’s policy, will accept your unworn, undamaged return and will send you a shipping label. Your LLR consultant may or may not accept the return and/or pay for return shipping. To summarize, VIV vs. LLR, in my opinion:-Quality of construction – draw-Uniformity of size between pairs – point to VIV-Sized as described – point to VIV-Ease of laundering – draw-Feel/thickness of fabric – point to VIV-Quality of prints – point to VIV-Price – point to VIV-Ease of purchasing – point to VIV-Ease of returns – point to VIVOverall, in my opinion, VIV wins.(My attached photo shows the Pink Starry Night Paisley print that I happen to be wearing today, and I also bought Purple White Paisley, Fiery Paisley, and Orange Blue Paradise.)

Heaven! This is heaven!
I never thought reading Amazon reviews would be so affirming, but this group really is! So, thank you, ladies! I am 5' 5" tall and weigh 245 pounds. I have been heavy all my life and have always found it challenging to find stylish clothes that are fashionably fun and comfortable. I also lean more conservative with covering up, so leggings were wayyyyyyyyy off my radar. One day a coworker of mine, who is heavier than me, told me how comfortable leggings were. (Ironically, she doesn't wear them in public because, as she stated, she has "kankles." We still have a long way to go in affirming ourselves as women, don't we?) I was about to take a long international flight and thought I would give them a try with a super long tunic. I loved them! Problem is the ones I purchased from Forever 21 were of thin fabric, and did not wear well after a couple of washings. There was pilling between the legs and throughout the pants.Friend #2 tells me about LLR leggings: stylish, cute, quality fabric...but I am not comfortable paying that much for something that is going to be mostly covered. Seeing these on Amazon, and reading the reviews I decide to purchase two pairs. Can I tell you how much I love them? LOVE THEM!The fabric is not sheer, but quite thick. There is zero transparency -- so no fear of seeing flesh. I machine wah in cold water and line dry. I have worn them at least a half dozen times now, and there has not been any signs of wear or fading in the print. The color on this pair (Chromatic Splash) is bright and fun, not for the subdued. (I also purchased the Field of Dreams pattern which consists of softer, more pastel colors.)The waistband is comfortable -- not super tight, but snug. I easily breathe and move around in them without fear of them sliding down. I have a significant size belly and pretty awesome thighs, and the leggings fit great. I am on the shorter side, so there is a bit of extra length. This is easily addressed by pulling them up, just like you would tights.I honestly am not certain why some reviewers gave their tights such low ratings. Without hesitation I would recommend these to anyone -- including folks like me who thought leggings were only for the thin or the very brave.
