Review: Awesome Pumps so far - Went thru 2 submersible Everbilt pumps from HD in the last year. I put in a Alpine 5120 a year ago and it still runs like new. I recently added a second pump Alpine 8000. Very impressed! I have these installed in this black pump vault. I'm guessing about 10' of head to outlet. The 5120 has about 10' of head discharging into the bronze colored 55 gallon barrel pumped into the bottom and filtering back up thru rock for filtration. Review: extremely durable - We bought this pump in 2018 and have run it 24/7 year around, even through -20 degree weather, pond froze over... Coming home from a vacation and the pond was extremely low and it kept running... It finally gave out in 2025 and I told my wife to get another one here pronto... I can not say enough about this pump.... Our 2 way waterfall is 10 ft high and it handles it great. I reached out to the customer service and they honored their 5 year warranty with a minimum of hassle. I provided them with photos and a short video of the issue I was having (pump was working at 1/4 power) and they replaced it without cost to me and only asked that I pay half of the shipping fee which I felt was more than fair. They responded on a Saturday to my initial message within an hour and responded promptly from there on out.
