These heat in the pan, so the sides cook, which means that the egg stays put when you remove the ring. Silicone rings have the egg run out when you want to turn the egg over.I smear a little butter on the rings before using them. Add to the pan and let them heat for a few seconds before adding the egg. Loosen around the edge with a knife and they come off easily.Easy to clean with a sponge.My previous ones were all metal and I had to use a cloth to remove them as they got hot. The silicone tips are a nice touch, you can simply grab them without burning your fingers.

Nothing like a Egg McMuffin when camping. These worked perfectly on a griddle. The egg was just a little difficult to get out of the ring the first time we used them, but I think we can make sure we spray it better the next time. The are really sturdy and will hold up well packed in camping gear. The silicon tip kept the handle from getting too hot to handle. They fold down for easy storage.

It seems that not all of them work well with the eggs, eggs leaked, what’s more one of ring arrival broken, threw into the trash.

I used these on a camping trip to make a few dozen pancakes for 5 families. These take some getting used to. The batter may stick even after spraying oil on it. I had the most success when I dipped them in cooking oil before pouring batter. The handle really helps.

Not as good as I hoped, but OK -- egg white sneaks underneath the rings, and it tends to stick to the rings. Clean before putting into dishwasher
