So versatile!
Not only easy on the eye, but pleasant to the touch, this small lamp will readily adjust to meet your varied visual needs. Arriving well packaged, it works straight from the box. It is light and easily carried and the small footprint of the base allows it to fit into limited space. The rechargeable batteries are powered up by means of a supplied USB cable. A small red light appears at the back of the lamp during charging. It offers either a cosy or a cool light and 4 differing intensities in each mode to suit your personal requirements. Additionally, it remembers your last setting. As a bonus it has a very useful night light setting: not too bright but adequate to let you find your way about averaged sized room. Living in a rural area that is subject to frequent power cuts, this lamp will be a handy addition to the home. The duration of the battery light provided will vary depending on the power setting used. Delighted with purchase and intend buying more. Highly recommend.

Lightweight and portable but very good light. Good to be able to select different light modes, easy to use. Very nice lamp, great value for money.

Doesn’t work
I had never used this. I bought it when possible electricity cuts were predicted but they never happened It had been in the box and I got it out recently to light the table while doing a jigsaw but the connection was loose and I couldn’t power from main or charge the battery

Charging cable not standard USB
The charging cable supplied is too short and unfortunately its a special cable with a barrel connector on the lamp end to USB on the other end. The lamp should have a USB C connector so that any cable could be used. So that has spoiled what is otherwise a very good design. It's a nice bright lamp though.

Its a wonder lamp!
This lamp is just so useful! Ok so it doesn't exactly scream designer style but its perfectly passable. More importantly its supremely versatile and mobile. I don't think I would use it as a 'permanent lamp' but for those time you need an occasional additional light source. e.g. reading, playing a board game / puzzle or even going into the loft / garage its just perfect! There are three light "tones" which again are great depending on what you're using it for. You can also change brightness too. There is a nightlight function too which I guess must be a very low power light designed to last longer but I must admit to not using this function much. For the price is an excellent and really useful piece of kit!
