The way it works is the key itself plays the sound of a starting car. When you insert the key in the car you can press the button on a key and it pushes the car forward. A 3-year-old is able to figure it out, a younger kid will probably enjoy just playing with the key's buttons and pushing the car around. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for younger kids! *by R***T on November 26, 2018* We were excited to get this for our boys (ages 6,4 and 2). It is hard to find remote control cars that younger kids can enjoy because it is too advanced for them and they get frustrated. These cars use a simple remote (shaped like a key) that controls the catapult and lights/sound. Even crashing the car is fun because it makes the car transform. Now it’s just a matter of getting the three kids to share the two cars!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy for a 3 year old to understand/operate *by N***S on December 9, 2018* This was a gift for my now 3 year old sons birthday. He is huge into transformers right now. The best part was 2 RC cars are included so his 7 year old brother can play with him as he always wants him to. That alone made it worth the price. He loved when they would run into things they would transform. It was very easy for him to understand/operate. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/130025934-gomamo-monster-truck-toys-for-boys-friction-inertia-vehicle-cars](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/130025934-gomamo-monster-truck-toys-for-boys-friction-inertia-vehicle-cars) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
