Excellent item, reasonable cost. Put it on my adventure van’s CB antenna.

I bought these to replace a worn out CB antenna spring which I've had for at least 10 years. The old one still looked ok after being exposed to the elements but obviously the spring was weak from all the flexing it went through. These new springs are strong and hold upright my 5 1/2 foot antenna at freeway speeds BUT the top of the spring is already rusting. So far the rust hasn't affected the antenna continuity to the cable, but we'll see how well it will hold up in a year or two. The spring itself seems ok, no rust.... just the top where the antenna screws into it.

These springs are black stainless steel. They will be holding my 4 ft fiberglass cb antennae. I specifically wanted the black to keep my truck's subdued trim subdued. These springs allow my antennae to withstand the stress the wind puts on them while driving down the road. These springs are heavy duty.

I was going to buy these at full price and I noticed there were some "used" ones for about 30% off. I bought those and they were practically new.
