If the band at the top was wider, then it would not be an issue, however when I put them to mid thigh it is clearly leaving an indent on my legs. While I am not overweight I think these only look like the model if you are a model. =) I folded it over so the top was loser up my thigh- just be aware. Otherwise they are super cute and look great on top of a pair of tights. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great SOCKS! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on May 16, 2011* I got these for a cosplay, and while the stripes were a little too thin, and the material was a bit more sheer than I would have liked, I use these socks a lot! I usually just pull them up over the knee and then fold them over. They don't stay up very well above the knee..the material is thin and rolls down. I would suggest a garter belt if you would like to truly wear them as thigh high socks. <3 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty Decent *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 27, 2013* These socks are pretty much exactly what I wanted, except the color seems a BIT off. Like almost brown instead of grey. Or maybe my eyes are just going bad. As far as length, they easily go up to my thigh and I'm 5'4. I had no trouble with them staying up through a long waitressing shift, which obviously puts a lot of wear and tear on any footwear. Overall I really like them and I plan to wear them often in the future. :) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/12997902-foot-traffic-opaque-thigh-high-stockings-cute-thigh-high-socks](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/12997902-foot-traffic-opaque-thigh-high-stockings-cute-thigh-high-socks) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
