Vermicelli (Bean Thread /8-ct)- 10.5oz (Pack of 1)

These are not made from Mung Bean but rather with peas and sweet peas. That being said they are delicious and a bit more nutritious than 100% Mung Bean Noodles (Mung Bean has more fiber than peas). The texture when making them in stir fries are the same as Mung Bean Noodles but they do taste slightly bit different. Honestly I love them both and will continue to buy them both. These are good quality, the size is a bit small so make sure to prepare accordingly when cooking for multiple people since Vermicelli Noodles don't grow/puff much like other types of noodles. Great texture and easy to cook on stir fries!

I make the best chop suey dish and I use these noodles and bok choys.

The nice thing about these (or any) vermicelli noodles is, if you cook them correctly, they're the perfect vehicle for your favorite sauce/curry, and they take on the flavor of that and whatever other foods they're combined with. And, like most pastas (wheat or other), these can be cooked in the microwave. Simply bring water to a boil in the microwave - enough to cover these noodles - then add these, and cook for 1-3 more minutes (depending on your microwave and how "al dente"/chewy or mushy you want these). Rinse with cool water to stop the cooking process. Add a bit of sesame or other oil so they don't stick together. Done. I like to cook these and add them cold to fresh salads. Makes the salads a bit more filling and the noodles hold vinaigrette dressings really well (they probably any dressing well, really, but I typically use my own home-made vinaigrette dressings).

Easy to prepare. I used my instahot water and soaked till it was the way I wanted it (5 min). I drained and rinsed in cold water and added it to my salad. Yum! I’ll be trying it in soup next. I have a crush on Vietnamese salads and decided I wanted to see if I could make it. These noodles totally fit the bill.

They are a staple in my pantry. Good quality, will buy them again. You can dipping them in hot pot with your favorite spices, try it, you’ll love it!
