AWESOME SHORTS!!! PROS- High quality materials and construction! Fits to size!!! I simply LOVE how these shorts are 'beneath the knee' whether standing or sitting, as I hate cargo shorts that creep over my knee when I am sitting!!! LOL.. They are easy to wash - just toss them in with a washload and either air dry if you want or toss them in the dryer - I did not notice any shrinkage.. SUPER comfortable to wear!! I ordered a size 40 and they were a 'little loose' because I am still losing weight, but these shorts have a 'real button' on the front instead of a snap closure, so I can easily just put on my suspenders from Hikers OR use a belt!!! The pockets are well stitched and roomy!!! CONS - NONE!!!!! Bottom line - These cargo shorts are the BEST cargo shorts I have EVER owned!!! As soon as I got my first pair, I immediately ordered another 3 pair!!!! I am so impressed by the quality and fit of these cargo shorts!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to EVERYONE!!! FIVE STARS!!!

I've given up trying to find a pair of women's knee-length cotton cargo shorts that A) aren't tight and B) aren't expensive designer labels. So, I searched to see what the men's size equivalent for a women's size 8 shorts/pants would be and read that men's size 29 or 30 would fit. I ordered these in the size 30 because I don't like close-fitting pants and I knew I had to make allowances for the fact that we women have wider pelvises (i.e., hips) than men. I was aware that they would probably be slightly loose in the waist because of this, but I'd rather deal with that than have them too tight around my hips. I'm glad I did. They were a bit big in the waist as I expected, but they come with a belt, which definitely helps. I also sewed on a second button, which made them even better. The cotton fabric is medium weight cotton twill and comfortable. And did I mention the pockets? Why, oh, why do clothing manufacturers think women don't need them?! We don't always want or need to carry or wear a bag. Multiple pockets are even better! The length is perfect, too. No one, including, me, wants to see my baggy knees. They come in a good selection of colors, so I will be ordering a second pair ASAP! The price is great, too!

I needed some black work shorts because my job supplies thick pants which are too hot to were during the hotter months. These are very comfortable shorts. Thin material which leads me to believe these aren't very durable and may cause issues with rips later. They are breathable though. As a flat bed tow truck driver I'm constantly up and down on the ground and the bed of my truck. I noticed if I don't lift the shorts at the thigh that I hear a ripping sound so Im always careful about how I'm getting up and down. The pockets are very strong Velcro which I wish didn't work as good as it does because I always feel like I'm gonna rip the pocket if I don't open it with two hands. For the price they are decent but if I don't expect them to last long at all.

These are the best quality cargo shorts I own. I think they were an ok price when I got them ($45CAD) but I see they have been higher priced recently. The fit was pretty good but a bit on the long side. I hemmed them up about 3 inches so they are at mid knee level now. I love how lite and durable the fabric is. The cheap ones you get at Walmart I have ripped before with one wearing. These I have had for 3 months now and took them on multiple camping trips with no rips. As for pockets there are lots of them and fairly deep. They do come with a belt but it don't use it so can't say if it is any good. Overall these are worth five stars.
