I’ve used them in cold weather having them rolled up around my neck like a regular scarf or when I am deployed into hot, humid Caribbean environments they make great shade draped over my boonie or around my neck, so they are good for a variety of climates. I’ve found them to be very durable. When it’s hot, I’ll typically soak one in a tub of cold water in the refrigerator before I go out for a hike and it helps very well with evaporative cooling. Mine are essentially odor free except for one time, which was my screwup. I accidentally left one wet at my cabin and didn’t have a chance to get back up there for about a month so when I retrieved it, it was pretty musty but a quick toss in the washer fixed that and there’s no residual odor. Also took one on our latest trip to Europe and rolled up it a very nice neck pillow on long flights. Very versatile product. Would buy again.
