I was pleasantly surprised, when I bought this. The sizing is accurate. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the the quality exceeded my expectations. The corset is made of excellent materials. It has a satin finish. It can be a little difficult to fasten, however, it is easy to tighten. I had to fasten it first. The design is simple and clean. I purchased the black. It's a utilitarian, fashion piece. It would make a nice addition to anyone's wardrobe. It doesn't look cheap. I plan on wearing it with a simple, white, poet's style shirt and slacks/skirt. It makes a nice piece of lingerie. Since it is an underbust corset, you don't have to take it off. If your self conscious about stretch marks or have a belly, this is perfect for concealing those little imperfections around the tummy area. It's very sexy, but offers complete coverage. It creates a flattering hour-glass shape. It comes with a matching thong. The thong isn't the best quality and runs large, but it serves it purpose. The black is very dominant looking. I plan on buying it in another color. I'm not sure how well it would hold up for daily wear or waist training, however, it appears to be well made. As far as a costume piece, you won't be disappointed. It doesn't look cheap, and it would make a fine addition to any costume. This would be perfect for a period piece. Make sure to take your waist and bust measurements, before you decide to order. I'm very happy with my purchase!** I did end up purchasing a different color. I bought the purple, and the color is amazing! It's really more of a fuchsia, instead of purple. Yet, I did notice the material was not the same as the black. The quality doesn't appear to be as good. However, it's still a very nice corset for the price. I'm just not sure how well it will hold up. I'm assuming, the material and quality of the corsets vary, depending on what color you choose. The purple is still really nice piece.

I ordered this in blue, large. Do not go by amazons size chart. When you click the drop down menu to pick the size, the measurements are shown (also by scrolling down past that, to the product information). My measurements are 36-29-41. The large fit me very well, but I could have bought a medium and let the ribbon out more to have it fit for a longer period of time, as I'm in the process of losing weight. The ribbon on the back is VERY long, and constantly ends up in my butt crack (sorry).The packaging to this was in a clear cellophane like wrapping, very easy to open, and that was placed inside a Manila envelope which was lined with bubble wrap.The clips on the front stay together well, and are actually kind of hard to take off if you aren't unlacing it first. I tightened my ribbon as far as I could, and it fit nicely. It's very flattering, a very beautiful color. It's not as vibrant as the picture, but more of a standard royal blue.This is my first corset, and I'm very happy with my purchase. As long as you know your measurements (have someone help you if you aren't sure), and go by the PRODUCTS SIZING INFORMATION, not Amazons size chart, which is to the side of the drop down size menu. I usually wear a small or medium, but because this is different than normal clothes, I needed to buy a large for my measurements. I'd definitely recommend this seller/product, and I will be buying again for my next corset. Remember, the ribbon can be let out a LOT, so if you're on the verge of two sizes, I recommend going with the smaller. My ribbon extra length is over 18 inches.Edit: The panties that come with this are bad quality. I'm keeping mine because I love the color, but I do not recommend them for long term wear, because they are not made of cotton. They're a thick rubbery feeling type material on the inside with the same satin material on the outside. The back of the panty that goes up your butt isn't sewn on to the band that goes around your waist. It's hard to describe. The end of the butt string has a loop around the end which the waist band runs though, so the butt material slides left and right during normal movement.

My fiancé owns a number of custom made corsets that range from $260-$600 dollars and says that this corset is great for an everyday corset or a bridal corset. It's nothing super fashionable or unique, has minimal boning, and is only single layered (no lining) but it's very well made, it works to suck in your lower tummy and waist, and makes your abs look more fit. The lacing wont be even on everyone like a custom corset because everyone's measurements are different.My fiancé's one gripe is the fact that they used coiled boning instead of flat boning. This means discomfort and (internal) bruising of your ribcage if worn for long lengths of time, or if you are moving around and/or sitting a lot in it while reasonably tight. It would be fine layered over clothing though to give it padding, or worn a tad looser. Another option would be to simply pad the two front bones that lay over your ribs with some fabric.My fiancé replaced the laces that came with it with a wider satin lace and it works great. You could also use traditional lacing but that will add bulk.The sizing: I don't know what everyone is complaining about. This corset does NOT RUN SMALL. We ordered a medium because of everyone saying to order a size up but my fiancé, who measures 34-28-38, had to order a second corset in a size small because the medium was large enough to have room to spare when the laces were closed and she sucked in. The small fit just fine for her. You should NOT be able to suck in enough to leave a gap between the corset and your stomach. If you can do that, your corset is too large for you. If you want that kind of breathing room, then a longline bustier is what you are looking for, not a corset.For $14 its a steal. You wont be disappointed. My fiance wants more colors so she can customize them. For the price, why not?

Está bella mente construido y la calidad de los materiales es excelente, la varilla es plástica y flexible pero debemos poner mucha atención en la talla pues es exacta a la que viene en las medidas de la publicación, no comprime mas de lo exhibido, si tu cintura es 68 y quieres minimizarla busca una talla aun menor, sin duda una gran compra.

Als das Korsett heute kam, hab ich mich zuerst gefreut - aber als ich das Ding dann ausgepackt habe...Also das geht gar nicht. Hier wird mit 12 "Stahlknochen" geworben, diese Korsett hat genau einen Stab, der etwas fester ist und das ist vorn in der Mitte. Alles andere an dem Korsett sind BILLIGSTE Plastikstäbe, die man mit der Hand ohne Probleme biegen kann. Das Korsett bekommt dadurch auch eine ganz seltsam Form. Für sehr schlanke Frauen, die eher auf Optik schauen...könnte noch gehen, aber ich würde dazu raten, lieber etwas mehr Geld in die Hand zu nehmen, und ein "echtes" Korsett mit richtigen Stahlstäbchen zu kaufen - das hier das Geld nicht wert, finde ich zumindest. Der Stoff ist auch sehr dünn und ich hatte das Gefühl, dass er bei der kleinsten Bewegung reißen könnte.Wenigstens kann man es zurück schicken. Schade!

My package arrived pretty quickly and it's great I ordered a large and it fits perfectly it doesn't feel cheap or like it will fall apart too quickly. the clasps on the front are sturdy and easy to do.
