Bright and durable
This light is bright and durable. I prefer it among others for lights in hazardous locations.

WORSE than the much less expensive model
This company needs to get their stuff together. I have been using the EOS 1 for many years (backpacking, dog-walking). My EOS 1 died so I bought the same EOS 1 replacement, and this one, the EOS 2. First of all, the website specs DO NOT match the packages. Per their website: EOS 1 has 4 modes. The Medium brightness is 185 lumens and runs for 2 hours, but the package just says 170 lumens, which matches...nothing. Again per their website, the EOS 2 has just high and low, and the high is 170 lumens. So I tested the EOS1 on Medium and the EOS 2 on HIGH (so the two brightnesses were essentially identical). At 4 hours, the ONE was WAY brighter than the 2, which was almost dead. So just the opposite of the specs. So save yourself money and get the ONE, which works BETTER (and is not a bad light, by the way.) And not happy at all that I wasted a ton of time to determine that the company's specs are totally wrong.

You need one
Extremely bright on high setting. Long battery life. Very lightweight. Highly recommend.

which sucks, or buying your own
It seems to work okay. I am required to use the "intrinsically safe" style of headlamp for work... They gave us a choice between using the company provided unit, which sucks, or buying your own, as long as it met the spec. I have used this for the last 6 or so months, in all kinds of weather down to sub freezing, and I have no complaints about it thus far.

Good hard hat light that won’t fall off if mounted right
Light isn’t as focused as my older one but still a quality light I would buy again.
