Makes a 'not so fun' job much quicker and easier while still getting quality results
I've been detailing cars as a hobby for 20+ years. I purchased this tool for use on my C7 z51 Corvette and an Acura MDX. If your expectation is for this tool to hop out of the box, dance a jig, and then clean your wheels effortlessly... you will be disappointed. However, i found that it did take a job i'm admittedly not particularly fond of, and make it a lot quicker/easier, while still yielding great results. This tool is very well made and sturdy, though i would still recommend the use of a long bristle tire brush for the surface wheel/tire cleaning. The area this tool really shines is in that you can bend and flex it to fit all the nooks and cranny's of your vehicles wheels, calipers and rotors. It does a fine job of molding to the barrel of the wheel to get old brake dust that accumulates over time and its a tool that i can see will definitely have cumulative effects (ie. each time it takes off more old deposits). My favorite feature is the lug nut polishing sponge. While you may have to try more than one sponge/plastic holder (many sizes included)... when you do find the right one it does a FANTASTIC job at getting brake dust out of the lug holes. My nuts have never been cleaner! That aside, its easy to clean and hangs nicely to dry. Its not an inexpensive tool, but take a second and think of all the gimmicky crap you've tried over the years that didn't work at all. This tool does work and you can tell it was built by someone who thought through the requirements of the job. Hope this helps!

This is my favorite interior wheel cleaning brush.
When was the last time you enjoyed cleaning the interior wheel areas of your car or SUV? Sure, itโs easy to brush clean the exterior tire and wheel, but that interior part is a challenge. You know, those places where dirt and brake dust accumulates with abandon. It is a challenge, but if done well, the reward is a brilliantly clean wheel that enhances the appearance of your vehicle. Long, narrow bristle brushes are adequate for cleaning, but these are also mounted on metal rods that might just scratch those precious allow wheels. Also, bristle brushes often miss large swaths of the interior rim and are notorious for spraying back grime onto clothing. Try cleaning that out of cotton shirts. Good luck. CLEANING WHEELS The Woollywormit wheel brush is designed with a non-abrasive, flat plastic frame that is covered by a soft chenille microfiber covering that grabs the grime on interior wheels and allows you to safely wash it away. Its microfiber is soft and absorbent. After wetting the material in a bucket of your favorite wheel wash detergent, just insert into the wheel crevices and lightly brush. Its flat profile allows it to squeeze easily between the wheel and brake caliper to reach that little area that always defies a good cleaning. With extremely dirty wheels, this may become a two-step cleaning process. First, use a detergent that will remove major build-up, then rinse the interior wheel while running water from a hose as you brush. This approach speeds up the process of washing away the grime and lets you verify progress and identify any missed spots. The second step after rinsing the wheel with water is to use a second wash bucket and a ceramic wash-and-wax product. The brush will both clean and apply a wax coating to the interior rim and make it hydrophobic. LAUNDERING Washing the Woolly is easy: use a microfiber safe cleaning process. Remove the covering and drop it in a washer and use a microfiber safe detergent. Wash in warm/hot water below 140ยฐF on a heavy cleaning cycle. Wash it alone because the product was used to clean abrasive grime. It is also dryer safe as long as you use a very low heat setting. LUG NUT CLEANER An honorable mention goes to the foam integrated lug nut cleaner that is attached to the other end of the plastic frame. While useful in a pinch, a dedicated detailing brush might actually be a better choice for reaching deeply recessed lug nut areas.

Good tool for cleaning lugnuts and wheel barrels with a few caveats
I first borrowed a similar tool from my neighbor to clean the spokes and barrels of the rims on my new car, but I came to the conclusion that nothing works as well as a mitt to clean the front side of the wheel so that you can get every surface on the wheel including the intricate crevices and behind the spokes. However, you still need a tool to clean the wheel barrels and lug nuts and this product works pretty well for that, with a few caveats. The "handle" on this product is definitely a little weird and could use a better design. I wear gloves when cleaning the wheels since I first apply a cleaning product and this makes the awkward finned all plastic handle a little easier to hold but I definitely wish it had a thicker solid possibly rubber covered handle since the brush side is pretty long and it can get top heavy especially when it has absorbed water. The brush has a good length and you can bend it and it will stay in whatever shape you put it in. The spokes on my BMW wheels are wide enough so that I can put this between them and get a good portion of the wheel barrel cleaned in both directions and it will fit between the brake caliper and wheel barrel but barely. The micro fiber fingers are very soft and should not scratch at all. The brush portion is easy to put on and remove from the bendable support form for cleaning and/or storage. To clean lug nuts, you slide the red lug nut sponge holder over the bottom side of the handle and then slide one of the foam sponges over the four tabs. The sponges fit over the tabs very snugly and once you get it started a little bit, you basically have to pull down on each side of the sponge to get it all the way down to the base. I keep it all put together in one piece so I basically have to hold the brush portion to move the lug nut cleaner half over the lug nut and twist to clean. The foam form is a little on the short side and the bottom of the plastic sponger holder handle will come in contact with the top of the lug nut. As long as you don't slam it hard over the lug nut, it shouldn't do any damage. I did all four wheels with one sponge and then rinsed afterwards and it seems fine, so each sponge should last for more than one cleaning. It is not perfect, but once you get it put together and figure out how to use it, it gets the job done well.

Awesome Wheel Brush
Only had this for maybe a couple weeks now and used it once. Canโt say anything about itโs durability yet but I can say this, itโs the nicest & most well built wheel cleaning tool Iโve ever had. I was struggling when I first started with this brush cause I forgot I could form it how I needed. Ha. Itโs heavy duty. Once I got past my mental block, everything went great. Works very well and is long enough to reach way back to the inside of my rims which are around 10โ wide with ease. Also when having to use pressure to scrub, it didnโt deform from how I bent it. Works great. Now the topper. It comes with these foam pieces with cutouts to clean the lug nut area very well without taking the wheel off. Without question itโs the best Wheel Cleaning Tool yet. Doesnโt scratch like other cleaning tools that use wire to hold the brush or bristles. Itโs very soft. Lastly, before I had to drag around multiple cleaning tools to do the wheels, this wheel cleaning tool replaced all the other tools Iโve ever bought. Verdict: Very easy to use, can form it any way you like, will stay the way you bend even when having to use pressure to scrub, very easy to clean, doesnโt scratch and does the job of multiple tools in one.

This is the review you'll want to read!
I consider myself an advanced level driveway detailer. I've been detailing cars for 30 years and even a short professional stint after high school. One of my favorite parts of detailing is perpetually refining my process to make it as efficient as possible. I hate cleaning wheels. They have always been the bane of my existence. But spotless wheels are necessary because I believe good looking wheels are 70% of a cars looks. I've been looking for the perfect wheel brush for as long as I can remember, something that is designed to clean every part of the wheel from the face to the barrels. I even considered outsourcing and manufacturing my own for a time. I really like the Speedmaster brush for getting inside the barrels but there are two problems. 1. Barrels are the only thing the Speedmaster can do well. 2. The metal rod wears out quite easily and becomes too easy to bend making it pretty useless. I also like using the large and medium size Wheel Woolies. I use the large for the face and between the spokes and the medium for the barrels. This has been my process for years. I ran across the Woolywormit and was intrigued. It is pretty obvious a lot of thought has gone into the design. They quality is pretty good. There are issues however. 1. I think $25 is too much. I get that this isn't some Chinese mass produced brush but $25 for a brush is too much unless it is God's gift to wheel cleaning which I hoped this was. 2. The brush is too thick to fit into the barrels on some vehicles. It fits in the barrels of my 5 spoke Mercedes sedan wheels but not on my wife's QX60 wheels. It does not fit between the barrel and caliper on either vehicle. Overall it really depends on the distance between the rotor and wheel on any given car. 3. I am not a fan of the handle. 4. The lug cleaners don't work that well. 5. The "mit" part of the brush can start to pull off if the space inside the wheel is too tight. And finally, cleaning barrels and lugs are the only things this brush can do. I suppose I could have been a lot more concise and just said, For the price, it is not worth it. It is a quality tool but it just doesn't do its job well enough to justify the price. I am sticking with my Wheel Woolies for now I guess.

Just one of many brushes needed to clean you wheels.
I am a little obsessed with my wheels. I have a half dozen brushes and wheel cleaning tools and can tell you that this is just one of several you will need. Let's start with the good things about this brush: It has microfiber "fingers" along it's spine and along with the taper it can reach into the small curves and slots in the wheels. Because of the microfiber it does a great job of removing the surface dirt. It comes with an assortment of lugs nut cleaner attachments that work very well. I used it in conjunction with a wheel cleaner and the loose brake dust came off without hassle. Now the bad: There is no handle to hold onto only little straps so you pretty much have to hold the tool itself. The lug nut cleaners are hard to put onto the tool. I only got them 3/4 of the way down before it ripped. Because it is basically all microfiber it is hard to clean. A simple rinse will not get all the dirt and old wheel cleaner out. I cannot speak to the bending of the tool since I didn't use it in that capacity. I will say that it works great on loose brake dust and if you constantly clean your wheels this is a very good tool. However if you let your wheels go for a bit and the brake dust is stubborn, you will need a bristle brush to get your wheels clean.
