I used to have an exfoliating spounge which was gentler then a pumice stone but still took off calluses easily.** A: Yes. There is a soft , but solid, side to the sponge and the scrubbie side is gentle, not rough like a pumice. I use these most every day in the shower , but when my calluses get worse, I use the pumice block.
