PowerIndia BC1201 Lead Acid Battery Charger for 6-40Ah (Black)

I have rated 5 out of 5. First of all, it really charges the battery in 'n' no of hours if the batteey is rated 'n' Ampere hour (Ah). Mine was 35Ah battery, so it took around 35 n half hr. Secondly, very light weight and as simple as mobile charger. Thirdly, 3 indicators are provided. Power on when in charge, Battery full and last us Reverse polarity if by chance, you conmect the clip to opposite polarity of battery ( As the clips are not marked as +ve or -ve, so this feature is very useful). Wires are of good quality because after continuous charging of 35 hrs, it was not heated at all. Only adaptor gets heated, which is quite obvious. Cost is very less in terms of Lead-Acid battery charger. So, overall, a very very good product at very less cost and a must buy item for every one(those in regular use will also need it during cold season)

I purchaesd this for my Royal Enfield bike battery which i use seldomly , so battery got discharge , Now ,this charger comes handy for the task which is does efficiently . I even instaled a power point near my bike garrage so i have to just put charger and open the battery cover to charge the battery. :) ( dont know it is safe or not ) .Happy.

Average product. Could use it only once. Charged motorcycle battery that was standing 6 months with this. It did charge the battery. But it got fried in middle while charging. I had switched off at night and started again in morning and within seconds it gave a spark and the charger got burnt. This happened because the pins are short and not of standard length due to which you have to push it and adjust. Basically it's flimsy on your wall socket.

I had a doubt on this device, whether it will charge my ups 12v 7ah battery or it will blows away. So I decided to charge it, it went out well, this device charged my ups battery within 2 hrs. Later I tried to charge my bike battery which is having 12v 5AH capacity it also went well. Now I decided to charge something big battery , if it blows away, I can claim refund or replacement policy 😜. So, I started charging my 12v 35 ah car battery next day. The Beauty of this charger is, it charged my car battery in 23 hrs. This product is really good, One should have this product which can be used to charge dead batteries during Lock down time or who use their vehicles rarely.

I usually take the car out once a week and drive less than 10 kms given its work from home these days and hence can't expect the battery to keep up for long especially when it 3+ years old. This charger has come in real handy to charge my car battery and saved me several hundreds of rupees. Also had a recent issue with my bike battery and mine doesn't have a kick start so used this charger to charge it up in a few hours. The rate for charging a car/bike battery once is 200 to 250 Rs. in Bangalore and hence this is value for money. The only issue is that the pin provided is too thin to clip onto a car battery so I had to use a wire to connect each terminal to the charger.

Did not work out of the box. Ordered a replacement. Updated: Got the replacement without hassle. This one works just fine. The auto cutoff worked as intended. Although the specifications say it charges the battery with Max of 1A current and my bike battery is apparently 9AH, it charged my close to fully discharged bike battery in 3-4 hours. The Math is not working out but it may be possible that my bike battery was not fully discharged. Anyways it doesn't matter as, in the end, the battery was fully (or sufficiently) charged. The plastic and wires feel a little cheap but that is fine as the product itself costs very less. The printed instructions about what the lights indicate were handy.

This is a very ordinary convertor, with a couple of small clips attached. 1. The clips are very small. They won't fit any battery terminal. Maybe a small motorcycle battery, but that's it. 2. One of the clips promptly fell off the wire 3. The other clip has a screw missing. Essentially, what you will get is a 240V - 12V converter with a decent wire attached. If you're looking for an ordinary one, this is it. But nothing else.
