Simple but effective tool. No longer sceptical.
Was not sure of the hype, but after deciding that keeping replacing tired blades, i thought i have nothing to loose.Works an absolute treat, giving my old blades a new lease of life. I watched the videos on Youtube and they worked exactly as described. Not sure why others have reported having to remove a left over bit... mine worked straight out of the box. Brilliant idea, another bonus, when the wiper wears again, you can do a second cut. hopefully should save me loads of money.

Total Rubbish
Total Rubbish, made the blade jagged and became it worse than before.

Awesome.
Wow!This is genuinely brilliant. Yes, I admit it does leave a small notch of uncut wiper at the end of the slice movement, but I'm sure most people own a pair of scissors to sort this, I mean look at the savings! My last set of (decent) wiper blades cost over ยฃ30 for the three blades on the car, now I get to use these 3times before binning them! The instructions are in German, but thanks to Google translate I was able to figure out how to use the cutter. Basically clean the blade with the included sponge (wet it), slide the cutter over the wiper blade in the direction indicated on the arrow on the side of the cutter using track 1 for the 1st application, using the second track when you need to slice the wiper the second time. Then re wipe using the dampened sponge. Sorted!

Less than impressive results
Mmm....reading reviews on here I went to the manufacturer website to watch the Uk video. When the little device was delivered I put the video into practice and it appeared to work with a small strip of rubber taken off the old blade. But.....the new slightly trimmed blade still smears.....Unsure if I have use it correctly, given the number of good reviews here but for me at least the results were less than impressive.

Good idea in priciable but not so much in practice
I saw this online and thought what a good product, I used it on my car starting with the rear windscreen wiper and it worked perfectly only leaving a small notch at the top which was easily clipped scissors. I them moved to the front, I have curves blades at the front and the device left notches all the way along the blade I tried again with the other side and the same result I think as it's a curve your don't get the straight run for the device to cut which in the end resulted in me getting new blades for the cars.May be worth buying if your blades at straight but not overaly great for my self

Impressed!
I have an old Nissan Micra approaching 19yrs of age and wanted to avoid paying out for new wiper blades. I do not scrimp on blades, always getting Bosch blades and it is these blades I base this review on. The blades had started to smear and leave lines of distracting water when it rained, so with nothing to lose and hopeing to avoid paying for new blades before my old banger goes to the scrap heap next year or at best the year after, I gave this product a go. It cut the blades very cleanly, but missed about a 5mm section at the end of each blade. I ran it along again on the two blades. The passenger side came off cleanly at the end on the second go, but the drivers side had that last few millimetres refusing to get cut, so a careful snip with sharp scissors did the trick. I tested the results with screen wash and just like new. Hopefully, this car will meet it maker in 6 - 18 months without costing me an unnecessary amount in new wiper blades. The manufactures website states that the cutting blade will last as much as 10 sets of wipers, but this does vary on the rubber and dirt and so on, so this should also prove useful on the new family car, saving even more money.

Dont wast your money.
Don't waste your money. I used this on my front windscreen wiper but instead of making the wiper better it split the rubber away from the housing. I used it successfully on my rear wiper but it make it more streaky than it was before I used it. So I will now have to buy new wipers which I should have just done to start with. I have returned it for a refund. I don't think it will be long before amazon removes this product from their prime section.
