TL;DR (Too, Long; Didn't Read) VersionSo far, so good.The good- Fits the Dyson Pure Cool perfectly.- A lot cheaper than the OEM model.- The Dyson automatic cycle still works with the new filter.The bad- Not sure whether it as efficient as the OEM model.Your questions, our answers: Is this hepa filter?Yes. This model has a true HEPA filtration system.Does this filter have the "new filter smell"?None when we opened ours. If it does come with the smell, then we suggest airing it outside for 10-15 minutes before placing it inside the Dyson air chamber. Is it compatible with AM11 model?Yes. Original Dyson filters are so expensive and this one works as a good alternative. The only thing is my Dyson doesn’t recognize it somehow so the sensors are still saying that the filter needs to be changed. Even though it’s brand new. I don’t really know how to make that message go away so I just live with it and every three months, I order a new one and replace the old one.

Have a TP01. Previous reviews said this filter didn’t quite work or didn’t match up in the machine or caused a rattle. After 2 months of heavy continuous use, I have had zero issues. Seems to be holding up well. Definitely not as robust of a filter that you get from Dyson, but for the low cost, this is good value.

The filters arrived in great condition, however I am concerned with my machines not recognizing them and the “F” not changing after I removed the dyson filter. Dyson warns of using other filters with this machine and the sticker says doing so can damage the purifier, so I’m worried about that happening. I feel like I still need to purchase the dyson filters now for the machine to work properly. These are a temporary bail out for me since the other ones got so dirty and I just needed to switch immediately until I move into my new home. I just wish these were compatible with the machine and that I can reset the alert. Also I’m not sure if the quality of the filter is the same.. I still need some time but they say the filters are HEPA filters, again.. they are replicas so I’m not sure if they are capturing the mold/dust/dander the same way. Over all these seem to be decent for the price point. Let’s just hope my machine doesn’t malfunction. That would be an issue, and these machines are too pricey to risk that so I personally feel like sticking with dyson filters as a precaution, unless someone can tell me how to rectify the setting issue.

It costs a lot less than the Dyson filters for my unit . You pay for the Dyson name. This filter works great . I replace it 1x/yr.

This filter does not have the plastic mesh cover the original filter had but it fit perfectly and there was no issues with the fan recognizing the replacement. Will see if it last as long as the original @11 months but at $15 it’s still cheaper to replace quarterly if necessary.

I was skeptical like most people in the reviews, but it works with my purifier (TP02). Dyson recognizes it after you reset the filter. There was a slight humming noise, but that went away after the first couple of hours thankfully. It gets the job done for a third of the price - I’m happy with it.

Unreal. After reading reviews for a bunch of filters, I settled on these since the original filters are no longer available directly from dyson. Well, I’ve had these for a while and they have been wonderful! I suffer from seasonal allergies as well as having an allergy to dogs (I have 3 big dogs) and these replacements stepped right up and didn’t miss a beat. I am so happy to have found these not only because of the quality but also because they are WAY less expensive........Buy these!

This filter fit very well and works (for now at least)I was able to reset the filter as well.Great buy!
