Can I store my cash, and cards in it?** A: Not really. It has slots to hold your pencils, art pad, sharpener and eraser. It is a great product and easy to take along, but would I would not feel secure using it to store my cash and cards. **Q: what are the dimensions of the wallet?** A: New: 9.5" x 7.25" x 1.25"With a Canson Artist Series 100 sheet 65 lb. 5.5" x 8.5" Universal Sketch pad in the wallet it bulks out to 1.5" thick (actually 0.25" thicker at the thickest point but if you're putting it in any bag/folder/purse/... it will easily fit 1.25" thick areas without effort.)The specific replacement sketch book is noted here because I've found it challenging to find A5 sized spiral/ring bound pads in the U.S.. The paper in the original Derwent pad is a little nicer. And I've bought replacement pads identical to the original, but there are fewer sheets in the original and it was a bit pricier to replace (identical pads shipped from England at the time) than the alternative pad mentioned above. The wallet holds up well with only slight fraying on some of the external stitching after a couple of years of use. Having swapped in and out various pens and other pencils the elastic loops hold up well.
