I did a ton of research and read countless reviews before deciding on the Viozon OL-3L. I’m extremely pleased with my decision! The quality of the product is fantastic, instructions were easy to follow and understand, and the finished result is exactly as I had hoped it would be. You can tell that a lot of thought went into this design, making it sturdy, easy to assemble and added features such as the cable covers and clips. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone, and will be purchasing a second one for my office! A few tips that I would recommend are: 1 - Make sure that you have enough of a lip/edge on your desk. The wing nuts that are used to clamp the mount on the desk are pretty wide and the bolts are long. I was unable to mount it completely flush against my desk because of this. Fortunately it wasn’t a deal breaker and is still very secure. 2 - Read the instructions thoroughly BEFORE you begin and lay out the hardware, ensuring the correct position of installation. I even went as far as labeling the hardware with the corresponding letter ahead of time to ensure accuracy, as this was not done in the instructions. Also, you will not need any additional tools, everything you need is provide. 3 - Go ahead and mount the monitor bracket to the monitor before starting the desk installation. I found that doing this first was easier. Also, as I read in other people’s comments, don’t be surprised if the monitor mount looks crooked after installation. I was concerned of this when I read the reviews - and I did in fact have the same issue. The good news is that the arms have 3 points of adjustment, so you will easily be able to straighten and customize the angle of both, the monitor & laptop. The tension adjustment points, especially “The Adapter (E)”, intentionally have quite a bit of tension, making you think they can’t be moved, but they can - check out Step 6 of the instructions. 4 - The positions will feel a bit off at first when you initially get everything set up. You will need to play around with it until you get the desired positioning.

I am completely happy with this Viozon Computer and Laptop Mount. It is exactly what I needed to get my monitor and laptop off the desk. I was concerned with some of the reviews, and want to reassure others. 1. The brackets that hold the laptop to the laptop shelf do not block either a MacBook or Dell PC ports—not at all. The brackets are only 1/3 up from the bottom and both laptops' ports are in the top 1/2 of the laptop. (One reviewer showed a photo of a PC that is a few years old and the ports on it were being blocked. My 4 year old Dell XPS 15 and my 2020 MacBook Pro both fit the shelf fine.) 2. The VESA mount has been modified by Viozon so it fits LG monitors. LG has the screw holes in a depression, and the VESA mount has been designed to fit this. No trouble at all screwing the mount into the back of my 32" LG monitor. (Several people complained they could not attache their LG monitor.) 3. Several reviews complained the VESA mount was crooked, so when the monitor is mounted it is crooked. My monitor was also crooked until I sat down in front of it and swiveled it. It easily swivels so it can be straightened, and it stays where I want it to stay. I don't know if they redesigned the mount, or what. But it sets up perfect. 4. Some reviews complained the laptop shelf moved too much to type on it. That is probably true for most, but does not affect me. I have a MacBook Pro and a Dell XPS 15. I use an external keyboard (Logitech K850) and mouse (Logitech M720). These two devices can be paired with 3 computers (or 2 computers and a phone). So I never type on my computer's keyboard unless I am traveling with it/them. The Dell sits on the mount shelf and the MacBook sits on another shelf. Both are to the side and my formerly cluttered desk is free. In the photo the grey switch on the desk between the MacBook and the left speaker is an "ezcoo HDMI 2.0 switch 4x1." Both laptops connect to it by HDMI, and it connects to the monitor. I switch between 1 and 2, depending on which laptop I want to appear on the monitor. Then I press a button on the keyboard and one on the mouse to switch control to that laptop. Easy-peasy. 5. I read 2 reviews complaining the monitor mount would not hold a large monitor, and the monitor leaned forward. I have a 32" LG monitor attached, and after 3 days it has not moved at all. I feels very secure. I am completely happy with this purchase. I will update this if something changes.

I've had this arm system for about half a year now give or take. First the PROS: - Stable. I have an ultrawide monitor on one of these arms straight out and it doesn't wiggle. It's a well-built system. - Plenty of cable management options. I should probably make better use of them, but there are a bunch of loops and hollowed out sections to run cables to your devices. - Solid base. There are 2 clamps on this which do a great job of distributing weight. My desk has a cross beam that was a little too close to the back to be able to comfortably accomodate the base. I fixed this with a small wood block which ended up doing the trick and its solid steady now. - Laptop arm has great padding and a decent amount of access to side ports through the grips. I have 14" and 15.6" machines, both of which comfortably sit on the arm. Max weight I've tested has been around 5 pounds. CONS: - Not extremely flexible. As opposed to a pneumatic arm or something along those lines, there are essentially 2 arms on this, each about 12" long, with a rigid ~30° angle in the middle. You CANNOT adjust the angle between the arms, so you need to get creative with the height of your arm placement, especially if your extra monitor is an abnormal aspect ratio. - height system is a little less "locked in" than I'd expected - each arm has a collar that sits below it, as opposed to an internal locking system. - rotating your laptop on the laptop arm can cause some awkward angles. Not great, as it's one of only 2 or 3 axes you can level it out with a main monitor. All in all its a good system if you're not looking to spend several hundred dollars. I frequently trust it to hold a few thousand dollars' worth of equipment and have no doubt in its capabilities.

I am so happy that I got this mount. I got my new desk and was afraid that if I just put the monitor on it like normal, it would take up way too much space. When I’m sitting at my desk, I connect my Surface Pro to my monitor to have two screens, and the laptop mount arm is perfect for my Surface Pro! I do use a pen drive for a good portion of my storage, so for a little while I was using a pen to give it a little more height so that the pen drive would clear that side clasp, but I realized that I’d I leave the keyboard attached and fold it behind it, it takes care of that issue. Another small issue is that clasp holds on to it right at the end of where my charger plugs into it, but I’m actually able to plug the charger in and allow the clasp to hold on to the end of the charger as well, so that was good. The clasps are tight enough to hold it but not so tight it squeezes it. It was fairly easy to assemble. The directions were confusing and it took me longer than it should have to put it together because of that confusion. But I figured it out and got it working. It seems very sturdy and I like that I can adjust the tensions of the moving parts as I see fit. I am very glad I got this mount and I highly recommend it!

I finally put together my monitor/laptop stand as my standing desk just arrived. Upon opening the box and reviewing the instructions I thought I was missing something. Stepped back and then looked over all of the parts. The only direction you really need is to unscrew the adapter and then insert into the arm and then screw it back in. In reality the pieces can only go one way. If you do it wrong, it's pretty obvious and easily fixed. I only needed the one hex key. My laptop (HP Envy Tablet) fits perfectly and the only hole it covers up is the headphone jack. Not an issue for me as I have Bluetooth headphones and I also have a USB-C docking station that has that port. The only customization I did to the supports was velcro my docking station under the laptop holder so I could easily dock/undock my laptop. I have a 24" HP VH240a monitor on the other arm and that also fits beautifully. There's no wobbling when I type and I have no fear of either component failing. It would have been nice to have my monitor arm also pivot on a ball as there are times I need my monitor in portrait mode and to do this I would need to unscrew the mount and turn it 90. That's rare so no big deal. I would also like the ability to purchase another monitor adapter so in the future if I wanted to have two 24" monitors and not use my laptop monitor I wouldn't have to purchase another complete mount. Overall I'm please with this purchase and the extra surface area I gain for all of my knick knacks that help me keep my mind engaged.

Unless one needs or wants the hydrolic arms and requires orbital articulation, - this worked perfrectly for me. So, the context for me is, - my desk uses the "pile" system. This allowed me to add a level above the piles of active work and actually not look so piled and messy. I used it differently ? too. My desk, I simply used a very nice looking "C-clamp" - an antigue, old #720, wood clamp. So, it was "installed" in seconds. Also, I found a nice piece of wood, slab, large "cutting board" ... and use it as a floating 17" +- Shelf, e.g., a dentist chair?, but much larger. Yes, it lies flat perfectly and since the rating for a monitor is so functional, as a shelf that swings in/out and up/down, - works well for me. THEN :) sadly the Laptop Tray, blocked my CD-ROM, which I use. I asked the seller, OEM, how I might properly remove the side clamps. Their response was to, - send me the tray that did not have them. Wow, customer service like I don't experience to often and above and beyond, imo. So, I like this product and the company, - which I am new to. I'll add, while I am not a metal expert, this looks like aircraft "level" aluminum. So, I'd say, don't be "fooled" by it's lack of bulk, - it's plenty strong as I see it. The only other thing I'd do different in this order is to order as a "Gift", since, -- it came minimally packaged and in this context, I feel it risked damage, being stepped upon, and the additional outside box, and packaging would have eliminated that *Stress, element which then made me look it over very closely. I get the whole less packaging thing, - however, once handed off to a shipper, well, one needs to be practical. This is not an inexpensive item! - I hope that informs someone.

I bought this OL-3L viozon Laptop & Monitor Desk Mount to clear up my desk since I am now working primarily from home. I have a white desk, so I bought the unit in Silver. The Silver Mount is actually Silver & white. The piece that clamps to the desktop is white and the undersides of the Silver arms are also white. The Monitor mount is well-made and nice looking. Unfortunately, there is a design flaw on the laptop tray. The tension clamps that hold the laptop onto the tray obstruct the ports on the sides of my HP notebook computer. I need to plug in an HDMI cable for the monitor and a mouse and keyboard. All those ports are obstructed, making the laptop tray dysfunctional. Due to the issue with the laptop tray, I am returning it. The replacement I ordered from MPK is advertised as an upgraded version of the OL-3L and is named OLL-3L. The MPK OLL-3L has improved the design by i) increasing the height of the pillar to make rotation of larger screens easier; and ii) tweaking the laptop tray so that it doesn't have obstructions. I have assembled the OLL-3L and it appears to be nearly identical to the OL-3L, except that the design flaws have been corrected.

Having owned 6 different monitor mounts in the past I can honestly say the build quality, look and usability of this Viozon mount is a cut above the rest. I purchased the combination laptop and monitor mount and is it simple to install, very steady connection with the desk, good adjustment ability for height and positioning, a nice spring loaded mount to keep your laptop safe, a lovely finish on the materials and good cable guide to reduce clutter. I will definitely buy again.

n'est pas conçu pour des portables plus grand que 15,6 pouces, j'en ai poser un de 17 pouces dessus et ça tient par enchantement, en plus il a fallut mettre le bras a l'envers sinon le portable se retrouve tellement haut qu'il est impossible de l'utiliser. Ça fait le job mais d'autres marques sont plus joli et plus pratique.

The joint at the back holds the screen in position through tightening the joint with the provided allen key. Unfortunately regardless how hard you tighten this, friction alone wont hold the monitor and it droops down. Tried to hold it in place with som cardboard as a temporary measure. Easily fixable for the manufacturer to use a ratchet system that you tightened too. You wouldn't simply be able to tilt then, and need to release, position tighten each time, but thats workable for a stable solution. So far not tried the laptop tray with my 16" Macbook Pro, but could see same issue on that arm. for now using for iPad only. If you have something like a Macbook Air and a smaller lighter monitor, will probably work well.

This stand has been great! Very sturdy and no dipping as of yet. I’ve had it about 6 months now, with a 32 inch screen and Laptop hanging on it.

Theoretisch ein tolles Teil. Hat jetzt auch 1,5 Jahre gut gehalten. Da ich das Teil als mobiler DJ nutze ist es mehrfach im Einsatz - anschrauben, abschrauben,... und genau darin liegt das Problem. Die Flügel der Feststellschrauben sind aus Kunststoff aufgeschrumpft und drehen mittlerweile über. Ich habe noch Garantie und versucht meinen berechtigten Anspruch bei Amazon geltend zu machen. Und genau hier liegt drr Hase im Pfeffer vergraben. Man bietet mir lediglich an, das Teil zurückzuschicken und neu zu bestellen. Damals für 75 EUR gekauft, Stand jetzt Neupreis 189 EUR. Ergo 114 EUR Mehrkosten für mich. Auf mein Angebot mir eine Gutschrift über 50 EUR zu erstellen, damit ich einfach andere Schrauben besorge, ging man nicht ein. Mir wurde eine angebliche Telefonnummer vom Produktsupport gegeben, die vertreiben das Teil jedoch nicht und arbeiten erst seit Kurzem mit Amazon zusammen. In der Hoffnung das Viozon das hier jetzt liest, mich kontaktiert und mir verbesserte Befestigungsschrauben liefert, vergebe ich noch wohlwollend zwei Sterne. Wenn der Sachverhalt zufriedenstellend gelöst wurde könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass da 4 Sterne draus werden.
