does arm absolutely have to be stretched out onto table while taking bp? was trying to avoid doing this, but purchased item. patient is elderly.

A reading may not be accurate if the arm is not at heart level thus the arm recommended to be stretched out onto a table. This is what most sites tell you to do ... "Sit with your feet flat on the floor, rest your back against the chair, and place your arm on a table or other flat surface to the level of your heart".

It is NOT rechargable. You can either use with the alkaline batteries installed...OR you can use it without batteries as long as you've got it connected to an outlet with the USB cable. But you can't recharge it with the USB and then ditch the USB and use it elsewhere and at a later time without those 4 alkaline batteries.

How you change time from 24 hours to regular time?
