Thank you Frigidaire!! I purchased a white Frigidaire to match my appliance’s. Did I say I love my Frigidaire countertop ice maker!! 100 stars. It’s great to just open the lid and have ice right on your counter. I use a Pure Water bottle to put ice cubes in they are perfect in size. I fill it with ice and put Grape juice, or Cranberry juice any juice or water I put my collagen powder and energy vitamins in and shake it up and have great ice drinks. I put ice in and make ice coffee. My dog loves ice cold water like his mom. He always has his ice. I use the Frigidaire Ice maker all through the day and evening. It’s a great gift to yourself or to gift to others. Thank you so much. You will be so happy you bought it. It’s not loud. It’s lightweight. Never fails to make ice. There is a window you can see inside. When you open it will make more ice. It’s just wonderful, fabulous and I love, love, love it. If your someone like me that loves cold ice drinks it’s perfect! This ice machine is a little larger than the previous machines we have owned. This is the 3rd machine we have purchased, as we wear them out! They have been lasting around 3 years and just work their little hearts out until they just die. For the amount of time that they crank out ice, 9 cubes every six minutes, being turned on in the morning, working all day, for 3 years, these machines are well worth the price! As with all refrigerator type products it is important to allow the machine to sit upright for a period of 24 hours before being plugged it in. We received our machine packed in the shipping box on its side. I called and reported that to customer service so it would be documented if we had problems. Then we let it sit for 2 days. We have had no issues and it has worked flawlessly since being plugged in for the last 5 months and I expect it will continue to do so. Always let it sit unplugged after turning it on on its side when cleaning or moving, to allow the refrigerant to run back down into it's proper place. If you care for it properly, it will perform beautifully!

I bought this one (because it is red!!) after I bought one from Costco and decided to get one for my office. The thing that sucked was it wouldn’t make ice at all. It kept saying it was out of water even when the basin is full. I spent several days and a ton of time researching the issue and decided to fix it myself. There was a problem with either the water line or the sensor. It now works great but I couldn’t get the case back on perfectly and now one side is sticking out a bit. Outside of that this little ice maker works fast makes a ton of ice and is better than the one in my fridge. A word of warning DO NOT PUT THE ICE TRAY IN THE DISHWASHER! I did this and the stupid thing warped and shrank up. Also the ice scope sucks. I bought a metal one that has a round tip and it is some much better. The scope that comes with the machine barely gets any ice and ends up knocking more out of the tray than getting it in the scope.

Ice takes about 13 minutes per load! Really worth it!

This little guy is pretty great. I was moved to buy this over increased ice consumption as summer in California nears. This ice maker pumps out several rounds of ice before I need to refill the water. The ice is a nice shape, my picture shows the “small” size which is an average ice cube size in my opinion. It’s a bit noisy, but what do you expect? It can’t be silent. One thing I didn’t realize is eventually the bottom layer of ice melts. This puts it into a fairly constant cycle of ice production depending on the temperature of where the machine is. Not a bad thing, I just didn’t realize that’d be happening. I really like being able to scoop a buuunch of ice into my drink as opposed to whatever limited amount a manual ice tray might produce. Overall I really like it and am happy to purchase a familiar brand.

UPDATE as of July 2020 - We ended up having to move last year, so only used this ice maker for about two months before packing it back up in its original packaging for a local move. It didn't get UNpacked until three months ago. We plugged it back in, ran a few rounds of lemon water through it to clean out the tubes, and got it going. Things seemed fine. It wasn't even as noisy as it was before. We only use bottled water in it, as our area has pretty hard water. But then last week, it suddenly decided it wasn't going to make ice any more. It was giving us the "add water" error message, even though it was full. We tried turning it off and back on several times. We also completely unplugged it, hoping that might reset whatever had gone wrong. Nope. Dead ice maker. So, we got LESS THAN SIX MONTHS' use from this ice maker. I don't know if it was just a lemon (you can read my original review...it never sounded right, and I never got a response from Frigidaire), or if this company makes extra-cheap machines. I am beyond disappointed in this. I need an ice maker and now can't afford to replace this one, with so little use on it. Not happy. ------------ ORIGINAL REVIEW - We've had two other ice machines over the last decade. We keep this upstairs. I am partially disabled and don't have the mobility to run to the kitchen fridge. These machines help me have cold drinks and fill ice bags. I love the color on this one. We've not had the Frigidare brand before, but most of these portable ice makers are the same and just have a different label slapped on them. It is pictured in the photo (decal was ours, they do not come thay way). This is making ice ok for now, but I am SERIOUSLY concerned about how long it will last! We have NEVER had one that sounded like it was on its last leg, gasping and grunting to get the water up into the freezing compartment! It grunts and grinds so loudly, it makes the overflow tray on our keurig coffee maker (maybe 1-1/2 to 2 feet from the ice maker) shake! It is like a mini earthquake when it pumps water up! I KNOW this is not normal. At first, we thought the coffee pot was dying and grunting, as we listened from the other room. Nope...it was this ice maker. I would like to see either the seller or manufacturer step up and replace this machine for us. We bought it new, not a refurb. Very disappointed in this unit so far. But I can no longer afford to just get a different one. 😓

I've had a couple ice makers but this by far is the best! It has quite a large ice bucket and makes the ice pretty fast. I like that it has a setting for big or small cubes, and there was next to no setup and very easy to use. The machine itself is actually pretty compact as well and doesnt take up alot of space on the counter. I would definitely recommend!

Terrific purchase. I got tired of making ice the old way with trays in the freezer. This things just keeps making ice all day long. Highly recommend. Didn't get the color I thought I ordered but the machine is so good I don't care. Excellent buy.

It's a nice little machine and I use it a lot. I was led to believe that it was a great deal. Boy was I shocked when I had to pay duty fees! The cost ended up being really high and in fact $60 more than the same one I found in Victoria for $99. I didn't send it back because it would have cost me a whole pile more money to do that. I would not have been able to get reimbursement for that or the Duty Fees which adds up to more than the value of the one I found in Victoria. Next time I want to order something from Amazon, I will do my research to make sure I don't feel like I was ripped off.

Makes small ice cubes quickly. It's loud, but we were expecting that as this is a replacment for an older one that just stopped working. Replaced the same model that was almost 4 years old and ran constantly. Good machine.
